how to beat a goarticles article ?

First off, you can't expect instant results. How long has your article been published? Most importantly, how long have you been building backlinks? If you've been building it for only 10 days, then you can't expect instant results unless you push the backlink pages to get indexed.
A tip - Whenever you provide a backlink to your main page, note the URL of the backlink page so that you can bookmark it later when you feel it's not yet indexed.
I think you should wait for some more time before you can decide.
Did you check the goarticles backlinks? Check it and see how much he has built.

The problem is, that i have 7 pages at the moment, point out to my review article on hubpage. I did a lot of promotion for all the 7 pages including the hub. I still don't rank on page 1 for it. In fact i am on page 5.
All i am trying to do i get some do follow sites, with high pr and post links on to them. But no one will allow me to place a link to hubpage on their site, would they ?

dude, hubpages was slapped by big G. all hubbers were reported that their traffic decrease since a month ago.. my 10 hubs that created 4 days ago are not indexed yet. even though ur hub indexed, the rank ability will not be the same as before.. my 3 new hubs that i create 2 weeks ago that considered as non-competitive at all are nowhere to be found in serp. this is not normal. before, it's different.. it's clear that hubpages is not a good choice anymore. it's better to use squidoo as landing page and send several articles to eza. i'm pretty sure you will get sales pretty fast, well if you're a good copywriter.
Hold on.. what's competition? it is high? Give me the numbers. If you're looking to beat a site that is top for 90000+ optimized sites, then I think you're hurrying yourself too much.
Btw, I've never had good results with hubpages, mainly because it is nofollow till you reach a score of 74. I suggest you post your articles in an article directory because your article is tend to get more exposure that way.

the competition is only 74,540 . thats all.
You are saying that hubpages dont work, but there are guys making big money with hubpages. Also those terms are highly competitive.
I seriously dont know what google is up to. Some guys with hardly 4- 5 links are ahead of me. Also the backlinks are pr 0-2.
I on the other hand, have bookmarked to a lot of sb sites.

Try some of these:
1. I'm not such a backlinks-shark that knows too much, but also try digg.
2. I haven't used goarticles before, but maybe you can create some accounts there and use those other accounts to comment and rate your article (the more the better).
3. try putting it on other big article directories.
4. put it on blogs.
5. i've seen software that submits an article to a massive article site list. haven't tried it but you can.
6. if you have a social network account with many friends/followers,whatever tell them to check out your article and tell you what they think or something like that (not the best push but can help).
7. go create a few yahoo answers accounts and start asking and answering and commenting and all of this stuff - also helps..
8. you said you posted a video. well, go to tubemogul and post it to many video sites.
I think at least some of these options must work and help..

Put their article URL (and maybe a couple other first pagers) in yah00 site explorer and see what backlinks they have. At this point you've only said what YOU'RE doing to promote it but you have no idea what they're doing. You may be able to reverse engineer what they're doing or, and it sucks but it's reality, just decide that there's no way to compete with them for that keyword and try to pick another.

those guys have got backlinks from their own sites, and a few bookmarking sites just like me, but the problem is my bookmarking links arent counting. plus Those guys are getting inlinks from their own sites. One of the guy there on page 1 has about 150 backlinks from his own site, plus about 4 sites that belong to him. There are crappy articles on them, filled with links to his review site. Plus he uses ppc.
Before i land on the first position, i need to reach the first page at least.
The least backlinks that a page has is 10, which is easy to beat, but the problem again is that my LINKS ARENT COUNTED.
Even though i used autopligg, not even one of them are showing up . Like i said before, i have already tried using a link wheel as well.
May be its time to check out a product from ejunkie or something, cos clickbank has got too many people competing and a big number of affiliates come straight from bhw itself !!!!!!!!

they make big money because they have many hubs before HP was slapped. i don't want to give any details, but i know them personally n.. ok, i don't want to discuss anymore. if i were u, i will just use EZA to funneling traffic into my landing page or it's better you have ur own domain and redirect that domain to sales page.
do u know the concept of 7 page views before buying? based on several online marketing researches, users will buy after reading around 5 - 7 pages about that subject. and after adapt this concept into my marketing, yeah, huge increase in hops and sales.
if u want my opinion regarding to landing page, squidoo is better than HP bcz visitors will not distracted by other articles' link. IF U DON'T WRITE GOOD CONTENT WHEN USING HP, USERS MAY GO TO ANOTHER ARTICLE THAT SHOWN ON THE RIGHT SIDEBAR.

Analyze his backlinks then build yours on the same strategy adding one more than him. You look through his backlinks and place a link on the sites that permit it ( blog comments, social profiles, forums ). If he has links from his own blogs/ sites then you get links from your sites or from other sites or from article directories ( ezine article will get you a PR6 if your article is good).
You said that your backlinks don`t show up. They don`t show up either because you haven`t waited long enough or because they are junk.
As for bookmarking, the search engines are not that stupid. Most people bookmark in a way that leaves a huge footprint. Something along the lines of: This is MY SITE. GIVE ME RANKINGS!
So don`t bookmark on 27 sites in half an hour. Don't bookmark only that site. Vary anchor text. Vary time of bookmark. Follow these guidelines and you should do great.

Latest update guys, all 4 of my reviews just hit page #1 .
This is like a dream come true. Seriously.
One of the terms had a competition of 4,560,000 , but i still managed to gain the 8th position.
What i did to get there ?
Created a hubpages and bookmarked to like 27 sb sites and used howies link wheel method. When it was not working, i wrote 1 article, pasted it on power article rewriter and rewrote it 15 more times and made another wheel.
Atlast, i landed on the first page. But the sadest part is that now no one is searching for it.
Havent made a buck, and all i got was 1 refund on clickbank.

yes because you don't have enough backlinks to maintain that spot.
They will continue to drop if you dont have more backlinks on them.

Did you do your keyword research before you started? I learned this the hard way. went out of my way to rank no.1 for a keyword and was delighted when all my hard work paid off. Finally I got my no.1 Big G ranking. The result - a no.1 Big G ranking for a keyword that was useless. Lucky me.
Got to analyze your keyword for potential $$$$ before you start your campaigns.
