How to be sure that content is unique?

Copyscape is very unreliable, according to a review I've read about it. You can't be 100% sure if a piece of content is original. They can always spin content with WordAI nowadays and it will look like it was written by a human, and it might be 100% "unique", but if a human reads both the original and the spun article, it'll be obvious that it's the same content, rephrased. The most reliable method is probably to type in the content to Google in small chunks and look for matches.

On the plagiarism today website they were extremely underwhelmed by Copyscape. The reviewer had at least 7 instances of his content plagiarised on the Internet that he knew about before the test. He writes, "All in all, I spent about 20 of my 100 searches. I discovered no actual plagiarists and the vast majority of my results came back with no matches found. That is especially worrisome since my text searches should have, in theory, turned up my own site at the very least. After all, I only blacklisted my own domain for the last few searches."

Paper Rater seems to be pretty good, I used it while writing texts about events in New York. Btw it's free

Aha, thanks for this, I just checked one of my pages to test and it was 50% copied.

You can use on of the program to check it. For example, antiplagiat etxt. It really works and you can check the procent of the unique text.
