How to be successful on YouTube

Dear friends,

As you may tell by this awkward start i'm new to Black Hat World. (Do not shoot me if i do something wrong, I appreciate all possible critque)

As i am a YouTuber for a few months now and gaining around 600+subscribers and 5k views in total i'm breaking my head on finding a way to gain popularity and exposure.
I've been reading this YouTube section for a few hours now and i just felt like writing this thread since i saw there are a lot of kind people around here who'd give me some good advice.

So as i've already said i'm looking to grow on YouTube. Everyone says the quality is pretty important and at this moment i'm satisfied with quality of video, audio and lighting. I know there is a huge grind to getting somewhere on YouTube but i just wondered if anyone has some great tips. Like should i try to collab with someone big? If so how should I do it? (Realistic view: No one with 50k subs and 10k+views on their videos is going to collab with me..)
Trying blackhat ways like viewbotting a little bit for exposure? I don't feel like this since it's purely fake and i think it won't really generate a lot of new fans..

I promote my videos on Facebook and Twitter. These 2 generate like ALL of my views i guess.. It's a hard struggle but i try to talk to people everyday so they would find out my channel..


I believe there are a lot of experienced bigger YouTubers or friends of big YouTubers who could help me out. That's why i made this.

I can try to help point you in the right direction for some solid quality advice. The problem is I can't explain it all in detail in just one post, as that post would be spread over several months of replies to the same thread. What I can do for you is offer you one solid phrase of advice that is 100% true for being successful in business or in media: "Psychology is king." Once you learn how it works, you can basically setup triggers for fame and fortune to come your way. Nothing is easy 1 click setup, neither is psychology. I suggest that you take the best from top channels in your niche, make that your standard while innovating on content ideas, record with commercial production equipment and editing, and roll from there. It is most important that you make content strictly for your audiences emotional satisfaction and enjoyment, else you will fail miserably.

Right now! all I can say is that research the trending subjects and make video about them!
The rank your video for specific trending keyword via HR views and likes.
You will eventually get real views and subscribes via search traffic.
But make sure that your content is awesome enough to engage audience. Otherwise; this won't work!
