I just made my first sale on Amazon, so I'm excited, and it also made me realize a very important thing. The key to Amazon is simply drawing as many eyes as possible to your link. Amazon product pages are literally the perfect landing pages, built by Amazon themselves.
Now, how do we get as many people as possible to see your links as possible? Well, to put a spin on Alec Baldwin's famous quote.
Always
Be
Linking
Everyday you wake up and fire up your computer, whenever you're browsing the web, be it on your own time or while doing your IM work, always have one simple question in your mind.
"Can I make a sale here?"
EVERYWHERE. Every single page of the internet you visit, you need to ask yourself this. Think outside the box. When you get down to it, and REALLY examine all the different pages of the internet you go to, and think outside the box, there's probably a lot of missed selling opportunities you're not taking.
Every single Facebook thread, every single Tweet, every single blog comment section you visit is an opportunity to sell, if you spin your posts right. Basically anywhere you can type a message is a potential sale. And if you're not taking advantage of them, you're losing money. The beauty of Amazon is that your niches are only limited by the items that Amazon sells, and they sell close to damn near everything.
So yeah, thats how its done. Be as proactive as possible in your link dropping. Don't just copy-paste replies. Make an effort to make it blend in, make it natural. Be natural! Just be part of the conversation!
Hit those viral threads on Facebook, popular blogs, etc. and PLENTY of people will see your links. And you will profit!
