Hi everyone, the subscription for one of my websites is coming to an end and I do not wish to renew it. What is the easiest way to back up all the information so that I can restore them easily in the future?

Use Filezilla and computer everything in the directory to my desktop?

Thanks.

You posted it in weong section.
And there are different ways to backup easily. Search on youtube/ google you will gind lots great methods.
My best methos is download all files through file manager and download database in mysql.
Works easy.

Is it a Wordpress website?

Depending on who you are hosting with they may have some backup options built into the hosting account you have. You can always reach out to them for recommendations.

If you have cPanel go to backup manager and backup your database and home directory. That's all.
Or make a full tar backup.

if wordpress, can try updraft plugin. can backup using google drive is a plus for me.

Yes, I also thing Updraft is the best solution to backup and migrate your wordpress plugin. It 100% does the job where other plugins fail. That's a good suggestion.

I think you should upgrade your database, this might be the solution to get it or try different plugin.

If it's a WordPress site, backing up with a plugin is the easiest way. I tried many backup plugins and ,in my opinion, the best one is Updraftplus, the impressive one is WPvivid Backup/Restore (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpvivid-backuprestore/). They both supports one-click backup and restore in their free version. I recommend you backup to Cloud storage which will more safer than your computer.

Personally, I use Duplicatr to move sites from local to staging, and staging to prod.

Works great, although you'll need a way to upload files onto your server.

You could also try WP All-in-one migration. I've used it successfully in the past, but it stopped working for me a month ago. Probably a user-plugin error.
