How to backlink YouTube videos

How would I go about doing this? Also, one of my videos on YouTube randomly got over 500k views, and when I try to word similar videos with similar tags ect... it doesn't get a lot of views...

I did a bit of YouTube last year and almost everytime I got a lot of views it was luck, I used similar/same keywords/desc/tags on multiple vids yet a majority of them will barely get any views and others sometimes reached 5k views per day. So yeah, it's luck.

it can be a bit of random luck....diff social signals get picked up at diff times etc which is why sometimes vids do well

well it was weird. This video was on their official website as a related video after their promo video ended.

Guys, its not luck, its all about doing it correctly. Please follow the points below.

1] check the competition of the keyword you 're targeting (youtube keyword tool)
2] Make sure your keyword is in the title, body and tags
3] Write 400 unique content about your video in the body ( make sure to include your keyword)
4] This is important - if you need to get viral effect on your vid - you need to optimise it withiin 24 hrs of it being live. After this its very hard and almost impossible
5] get views, likes, comments (usual places)
6] Send your video to FB pages and twitter pages (be better if you target high volume pages - youtube see this as popular vid)
7] build backlinks - GSA, SEnuke, UD, what ever the soft you like (again target your keyword, 20% as one of your anchors)
8] Embed your vid to one of your high pr sites and create web 2.0 sites and embed your video and start backlinking.


I know its a lot to do with in first 24 hrs, but if you get the besic right you are in for long term relationship with this sweet ass.
