How to avoid Trustpilot reviews being removed?

Hey guys,

I have tried every possible tactic to post Trustpilot reviews now. Finally, I thought I have found a way for them to stick, but suddenly one day all the (fake) reviews got removed at once.

This is what I did last time:
- Multi-agent browser (I used ClonBrowser)
- Luminati proxy (both residential and shared IP)
- Timezone and geolocation based on IP
- WebRTC: disable/hide (default settings, I have no idea what this is)
- Different screen resolution and User-Agent for each user
- Only desktop user agents
- TP review invites sent from TP business dashboard to each user (it's a SaaS business so it makes sense to send invites)
- Only new email addresses never used before

The only review that didn't get removed was the only real review posted by a friend. He was also invited in a similar way as all other users (and never posted on TP before), so this tells me that it must be something TP logs from the web session that is the reason. I suspect it has something to do with the IP/proxy maybe?

Any experienced people here with an idea of what I can do differently to make them stick?

Thanks!

Did you try drip feed? HAve for instance 10 visits on your page daily. Unique of course. And have 1 only review published.

I posted one review every 2-3 days. My friend posted his review on a random date. Because all reviews were invites, the number of page visits should be irrelevant I assume (also confirmed because the only review not removed was the real one).

i can add to check if your dns server is leaked on proxies
https://www.dnsleaktest.com

I wonder if it can be because of the WebRTC settings. I didn't change this in ClonBrowser, setting used is "Disabled" shown below.

Maybe TP picks up this as a signal? Should it be set to Altered to mimick a real user-agent better? Tbh I have no idea what this is.

you can check webrtc ip address at whoer[.]net
you will verifiy if your ip is leaking. just the same way as dns leak test as i wrote above.

Sorry for asking stupid questions, but what should the result look like ideally? The page shows both the IP and DNS. Hostname says N/A. The IP is the residential proxy IP if that's what you asked.

I notice it says "50% disguised" for one user agent, and 70% for another. Not sure which fingerprints this is based on, or if it's even relevant.

yes. webrtc and dns should show ip address of your proxy.
you can check your dns and webrtc when not connected thru proxies and compare with that when connected with proxies.

another thing.
validate that your proxy ip addresses are detected as ISP. Not VPN, Proxy, Data Center etc.
i do it via this tool https://www.ip2location.com/demo

webrtc should be altered. a legit user would never disable webrtc.
go to pixelscan.net and see if it's detecting you as fake.

It says "Proxy Type: (VPN) VPN Server" - can this be the reason? Can I do something about this in the proxy settings?

With WebRTC disabled it says "No automation framework detected", but it's stuck loading ("collecting data…")
With WebRTC set to Altered, it says "Automation framework detected" (also stuck loading)
- not really sure how to interpret this.

Are you sending out invitations from your company account?

Yes. I see that all other competitors are doing the same so I thought this was the best way to get reviews to stick (should increase credibility?)

then it is bad. it is not residential proxy. it is simple VPN.

I'm using Luminati proxy in Cronbrowser.

For this particular user, I used shared IP.
I did a test with a residential IP user now which returned "Proxy Type (DCH) Hosting Provider, Data Center or CDN Range"

Will using a proxy always leak that a proxy is being used?

Luminati IP detect as VPN Server?

Looks like that, yes. I did more testing with 10 users and it shows "Proxy Type (VPN) VPN Server" for all. This only happens for shared IPs, and not for exclusive IPs.

I see from Whoer that there's a long list DNS addresses showing, and it changes every time I refresh the browser window. Is this normal behavior? For example by using exclusive residential IP for Norway, I see a list of 15 DNS addresses from Denmark and the Netherlands (see image).

If I go to Whoer in my normal browser without proxy I see a single DNS address (same country as my IP).

Your proxies are leaking headers. Thus Trustpilot sees that you are faking reviews as you are not behind genuine connection.

Google this.

Luminati is definitely not a good option and I know you found it on the first page of Google.

If you run proxy detection tests then avoid sites like whoer.net as it's not enough sophisticated.

You can try to use Elite Anonymous Proxies but it will cost you a lot and it might not be worth of your money if you dont have lots of customers and cannot afford to buy big monthly subscriptions.

Yes you are absolutely right I found it on the first page. Any proxy providers you recommend checking out that might not have this issue with leaking headers? Or could the reason be because the proxy is not configured properly? (I'm a total noob with this)

I did some searches for elite proxies, but I find it very difficult to sort out all the scams and low quality providers in the proxy industry

You need to do your research as nobody shares their providers. Most Elite Proxies are sold price per proxy. Usually they offer you to buy a single proxy.. normally it can cost between 2-4 USD (if you but them one by one)

The big suppliers have support chat available so you need to ask them directly if their proxies are elite and if they are passing headers. The problem with those suppliers is as you said earlier - a scam.

I just got my refund from another provider called Smartproxy that advertises their proxies as Elite Anonymous Proxies but in reality those are just residential. Whoer gives you false information about proxy detection but you can easily find very good proxy detection tools from Google. If the proxy is leaking or detected then they give you also the exact reason why.

So you need to look smaller suppliers, those who usually don't have live chat support and either buy the proxies one by one or send them an email and ask directly.

Keep in mind that the support can and probably will lie to you as Smartproxy did to me (images below) so you really need to find and test yourself. If you test providers one by one it won't cost you much other than your time (since you can buy the proxies one by one for a couple of dollars)

As you can see they lie and deceive and you are on your own in this. The only way to know is to buy and test.
