How to avoid Paypal SSN

It is "illegal" as Paypal cannot request SSN since they are not a bank.Calling them up will allow you to fully explain to them your thoughts on why you do not want to give your SSN information up. It is not entirely impossible to avoid the SSN request nor is it impossible to get a Paypal account with SSN limitation request lifted either. It takes some planning and patience to get pass it, but it is absolutely necessary if your account has lots of money that you need to get out. Consider using multiple accounts to have the sales distributed among all of them. Having one account take most of the sales is a sure sign of a limitation or some type of restriction. The main occurrence with Paypal is that you never know what they do next.

yeah... not doing the felony thing

i'm building a legit serious business

above board, paying taxes, clean

not looking for something sneaky

going to have lots of volume, so i need to be on the good side with paypal

my thinking is this:

the "gatekeepers" follow their script

if they're told that you need an SSN to get a specific account/service, then that's what they follow

however... something about that doesn't smell right

foreigners do business in the US and with US corporate structures all day every day and they pay taxes for the "privilege" of doing so

for online retail (which i'm doing) paypal is a must

without it i'm leaving tons of money on the table

does anyone here have any insight into how to legally get around this barrier paypal has put up?

Are you based in US? If so there is a perfectly legal to set up a LLC or corporation get a tax ID, and use it instead of SS#. In states like Wyoming, you don't even have to give to the state your identity when setting up a LLC or corporation.

if you're paid in USD, your money on your balance will be kept in USD, your country doesn't matter, your money stays in USD until you exchange it or withdraw it to a bank account which is in other currency than USD

can we just make accounts in countures where ssn is never asked because they dont have ssn there?
