You know, the one where it says "we've noticed suspicious activity on your account" and asks for your phone number and then disables the account. I've had this happen to several of my bot accounts, all with no posts. Is there any way to prevent IG from challenging those accounts?

Lower the total actions the account does.
I suspect you use them for scraping?

Also, you probably use DC proxies if these are scraper accounts - the subnet may be flagged by someone's actions.

It may also be the general quality of the account - some accounts get Captcha without doing any actions - you may create the account and it will disappear from search bar after 2-3 days without anyone being logged in. After logging in you'll be greeted by Captcha. If you are dealing with these types of accounts, change creation method/supplier.

You did not really give enough information to give a proper suggestion since I've been guessing what you do with accounts, how they are created and so on. Please add some more info :)

All the accounts that got "disabled" by IG were created manually with a VPN (but I did have accounts created with a VPN that were not disabled). Strangely enough, none of the >100 accounts I created via software with a proxy were disabled.
I didn't buy followers for alot of the accounts that got disabled, and many of the accounts I did buy followers for were not disabled. The accounts that got disabled had a profile pic but no bio and posts. I would suspect they got disabled because of a lack of activity, but many of the accounts I automatically created with a rotating proxy have no profile pic, bio or anything, and still have not been disabled yet (fingers crossed).

So yeah, the accounts probably had a lifespan of like a week and a half, with virtually no activity, and then this morning I got the challenge verification from IG. Weird. I'm thinking maybe the accounts that got deleted just had a really low trust score because of the lack of activity. And I'm hoping this isn't the first of many waves of my accounts getting disabled.

I'm pretty sure the answer is VPN then - creation works, but the IPs are always the same - I'm actually surprised how IG allows creation on those at all since all VPNs are detected (well, the popular ones).
All I can say is don't put too much effort into other accounts you created via VPN. I would suggest 4G but that is also no longer the perfect solution :)

Also, try creating accounts manually with the same type of proxies you used with software (from what I understood, you did not use the same VPN for those). If the accounts will get disabled, it's you creation method.
