How to avoid Godaddy Auctions .com renewal?

While trying to buy a domain in GD Aucs I get this



Are we forced to pay it? Can I cancel it after paying and get a refund? Or skip it?

I don't think it's possible, many registrars nowadays do this, I've had my domains all get renewed when I transferred them from Namecheap to Namesilo, and if Namesilo forces this on customers then you can expect it even more from Godaddy...
