how to avoid email spamming

hi guys, hope this is the right section, and i hope you may excuse me for my poor english.
The company i work in, has a website ( domain name + various mail boxes associated on it) since some months, we are getting focussed by some email spamming campaign, they send us virus attached and stuff like that, or, the typical message where theyblackmail you to pay through bitcoin certain amounts.
Now, i can i "stop" this ? our antispam/antivirus is already active, but they still pass.... there is a "middle man" serice who can help me filter more these mails ??

block the email or just ignore it id say

reprot, flagged as spam, etc.. There are lots of things you can do with it.

thank you guys for your answeres.

i already block those addresses, but for sure, my domain name are in some spam list or so, and i still receive messages from new addresses.

Also, on that domain, we have something like 200-230 diferent mail boxes... so what i need, is more a service that "filter" mails at the source.

Your account should be able to add custom filters to send emails that have specific words straight to spam or delete. Use common words or phrases from these emails that your customers/users wouldn't use. Ex: porn, blackmail, bitcoin, etc.

yeah, did it with "wallet" or "bitcoin", but most of mails are like "This is your invoice".....a pretty common phrase, that i can not block at all...so..

On a managed server, SpamAssassin should fit your needs.

Just be aware that every time you interact with this email, open or click, you will just get more spam.. So be aware of that.

Lookup the ip address (whois IP), and figure out where its hosted, and send an abuse mail to the abuse mail listed there can often help.

Else, post a sample mail here, maybe people can come up with some filters you can apply.
