Hi all,
I was wondering if there are techniques and methods to raise ones Alexa score artificially or semi artificially.

I saw this post on DoshDosh http://www.doshdosh.com/20-quick-ways-to-increase-your-alexa-rank/ but would like to know what you gyts think.

Any tips ?

I had read on bhw that autosurfing sites can be useful to increase alexa rank. So, you might want to try them out. If you search a bit, you might be able to find the exact thread that has detailed information regarding this.

Yes, it works but as the years go on Alexa is less and less relevant... mainly because it is so easy to game.

There are gobs of scripts on BWH and the internet that will simulate Alexa toolbar queries. A word of caution however - Alexa periodically updates how their toolbar talks to their servers, so the scripts need to be update accordingly. Also, if Alexa sees a lot of hits from the same IPs for the same domains, your score will drop at first... and then they'll penalize you.

i've got a link to a hosted script which works. there is a big list of proxies which they use to artificially increase it. and it does work. ill post the link once i get home. id also recommend putting the alexa widget on the page your want to send the traffic to.

I had bought some cheap traffic to increase my alexa ranking and it worked . the other technique which worked most of times is to post your links in some adult forums with some good anchor text , they will send you lots of traffic if you do it in correct way . some people form them could stay on your website if you have an interesting website

you can buy cheap traffic and have like 5 of your friends download toolbar from your site and set their homepage to your site

you can get up to 100,000 like this in just a week

Your friends can surf all your pages with alexa toolbar installed , this will help boost your ranking pretty rapidly.

Yea alexa rankings mean nothing. They're good for ego-boosts, but that isn't even satisfying if you've faked it, lol.
