Let's come straight to the points

  1. New Site, 1 month old
  2. Indexing properly within 24 hours
  3. Human writers are writing content + AI Assistance
  4. Targeting already trending topics which are visible in my +team members discover

External push: No

Only sharing 1-2 articles daily basis on LinkedIn/Facebook. No LinkedIn followers, it's new.

Brand term keyword search is giving some clicks around 50-60 clicks per day

How to get the site into Discover?
Your numbers are solid for a new site. To consistently show up in Google Discover, focus on perceived quality and user behavior signals. Some key optimizations:
  • Use emotional headlines with eye-catching images (min 600px wide, no watermark).
  • Target trending angles and intent-driven topics, especially those already indexed in Discover.
  • Maintain a regular publishing rhythm, consistency matters more than volume.
  • Avoid unnatural backlinks or embeds from forums/socials, that can tank your eligibility.
  • Pro tip: some use mobile proxies to simulate natural CTR and session patterns, helping the initial boost especially when paired with social seeding.
If you’re already seeing clicks from brand terms, that means the structure is solid, now push it with more content velocity and behavioral signals.

you need some external push to stir up signals... socials, reddit, niche forums, whatever. no push = no audience pattern for google to pick up. linkedin/fb with no followers won’t cut it yet.

brand term searches giving 50-60 clicks is actually solid for a 1 month old site. means ppl are prob curious already. keep that building.

tldr: trending content + fresh posts + good titles + big images = chance to hit discover... but without some buzz offsite, prob won’t get much traction early on

Okay I'm putting emotion aspect in headlines

Already publishing content similar but better to what's trending in discover

Regular 5 to 6 articles

This proxies part, I have no experience. Will paid ads work via outbrain , Taboola, Google ads?

Yes, as per my research I just need a push cum user pattern for Google to recognise my site.

But how to do it is the main challenge for me now.

That’s actually a strong start. If you’re getting 50–60 clicks daily from brand terms already, Google is recognizing something. Keep publishing consistently, strengthen internal linking, and start building a few authority backlinks. Push lightly on social and forums. If growth continues steady for the next 30–60 days, it’s worth scaling.

Site's social handles are new so there are no followers

I got your point of initial push....for Google to recognise my audience patters.

As of now I don't have any external sources to rely, except paid traffic from ads.

Should I go for it?

You’re absolutely right, Google needs to detect a realistic user behavior pattern. Outbrain, Taboola, Google Ads can help with initial exposure, but they’re usually not enough to trigger Discover since the signals remain inorganic.
That’s exactly where mobile proxies help: they simulate real behavior from residential ASN, legit devices, and rotating locations. Combine this with social drops (Reddit, Telegram, X), and optionally push notifications via OneSignal or similar, you’re creating a behavioral ecosystem Discover likes.
You don’t need to scale the whole traffic this way, just trigger key articles with a few strong signals and let the rest grow organically if your content hooks.

paid ads can work to jumpstart signals if you target right niches and don’t just blast random traffic. but if you’re running ads just to get google discover attention then it’s kinda indirect and might not move the needle much. discover wants natural engagement and user interest not just clicks.

better to use ads to build real followers, comments and shares on socials or get traffic to your site from relevant places. that way google sees actual user behavior and interest patterns. so yeah, ads can help but don’t expect them alone to get you into discover. use them smart and not just for raw traffic.

You seem to be off to a good start. You're halfway there because your content is already rapidly being indexed and receiving clicks on branded phrases. Pay attention to E-E-A-T signals (author biographies, credibility, etc.), captivating thumbnails, and mobile-friendly layout if you want to get into Discover. To encourage early participation, consider promoting a little more on social media (Reddit, Twitter, and specialized forums). Google likes signals, no matter how little. One of the popular themes will become popular if you keep riding it aggressively.

Brand keyword driving traffic....ranking in some trending topics. Like I have noticed the top 1 ranking in GSC for some queries, which are top stories keywords (I don't know my website ranked for those keywordsor not, but when I searched those keywords in multiple devices, found these all are top stories keyword at position 1)

Ran a display ad on Google for 5$, the balance got exhausted in 2 hours. I don't know how to run ads it seems

Still Discover is not on.

Thinking to run ads via Adroll.

My niche is related to a specific type of news for a specific category. For my nice, WhatsApp channel alerts is a great way for my reaers to stay updated. tried to run ads to promote whatsapp channel on google ads, but rejected due to low-value content on the page. I put the whatsapp channel url there

Hey, I also trying to get featured in Google Discover. It sounds like your on the right track with indexing and trending topics. Any tips on how to optimize content specifically for Discover or how to improve visibility
I have not been entered into Discover. So can't suggest any tips, still figuring out.

What i am doing is mentioned in my initial post

To show up in Discover, focus on publishing consistently around tredning topics and use structured data. Internal linking to new posts from older indexed ones can also help visibility.

It costs $1500-5000 to get PR articles from reputed sites in India.

Already doing... anytime I open GA4 I see 10-15 realtime in an half an hour span.

Consistently publishing on a special time. Yes as mentioned earlier, articles are going live on topics which are already trending in discover of my+my team members feed

In normal SERP, I noticed users are typing mysitename <space> searchterm ....this is driving traff to my site.

To appear in Google Discover, publish high-quality, engaging content optimized for mobile users. Use compelling images, click-worthy titles, and follow Google’s content policies. Focus on topics users care about and ensure your site is indexed and loads quickly.
Thanks for the suggestion but it's very general suggestion as mentioned in Google documentation, which is already being followed by my team.

To appear in Google Discover, create high-quality, mobile-friendly content with large images (1200px+) and trending or evergreen topics. Ensure fast loading, use structured data, and follow Google's E-A-T guidelines.

Search console insight report for the last 1month. 75.3% traffic from brand search term.

I ran a one-day Outbrain campaign on the latest breaking news topic after it was indexed by Google. But not discover traction.

As of now collecting Whatsapp channel followers and pushing oen or two post links a day (after posts are getting index in google)

SO far no discover tab

Hey, it's nice that you guys are providing suggestions for my site.

But don't post generic responses, if you have seen my initial post, then let me remind you again. I am doing all the stuffs mentioned in Google documentation.

If you have something extra or tricks to sharez then it will be helpful.

send pop traffic between 1000 to 3000 quickly to create spark with google chrome users, and use push too.

and don't hesitate to make 5-10 articles per day, and send pop on each of them each time, you can use a rotator for traffic, do embeds to save money, use twitter redirects to vary your sources of pop traffic in order to whitewash your sometimes poor quality pop traffic.
