How to add applovin ads into a Cordova Project for Android ?

I am writing a multiplatform app in Cordova and am having a lot of trouble trying to get Applovin ads to work on Android. I have downloaded the code samples for AdMob, but controlling it from the javascript stumps me. I understand something about the plugin architecture, but I just can't seem to get it to work.
