Hey guys... Pls let me know how to add adsense code to a wordpress templete. (it's not a free hosting)

I have chosen a particular wordpress templete (free one). I see that the chosen wordpress templete already has adsense ads on the top which reads "Public service ads by Google". How do I replace and add my adsense code.. Thanks!

if the template you have already has adsense on it, then there must be a readme file for it explaining where to input your adsense code. otherwise u can get adsense plugins that will put the ads where u want them.

Thanks for the reply guys...

@umairsheikh2002 -Unfortunately, the video doesn't solve my problem..
@howcanvn -thanks for your time..I am trying to get familiar with these things.
@werrich -I went through the "readme" file. It has the info that I need. Thanks!

You can also use wordpress plugin call Easy adsense. As the name suggest, its really easy. Just few copy paste and you are done.

Warning about Easy Adsense and Easy Adsense Redux - if you use it, any time you change your WordPress theme, the adsense blocks will all revert to using the adsense publisher id of the author of the plugin.

Look for single.php or any file similar to that (which will display a single post). You just need to insert ad code into that file

Yes you are right. But there is a 5% ad slot shearing setting by default. You can change that to zero and all $$ will be yours.
