To start, you can use free blog platforms, with good text (with an eye on AI overview), you can even get your first traffic from there. Just don't use anchors with keywords right away, you can just write the brand name in them. And then only paid links, you should have a very non-competitive niche so that you can raise pages with free links, I haven't met any)
