Their algorithm is pretty complex when compared to other social media sites, but IMO it's consistently one of the best.

They mostly utilize like audience groups, but it's a really well sharpened tool. And sometimes it's too active. I'll like one video on a subject, and then the next ten videos are along the lines of that subject.

i think tiktok's algorithm distributes quite evenly to accounts (of course when you don't promote your personal page by paying), when you post the same type of content and enough (this depends on whether your content is attractive enough) then it's normal for you to have viewers and become famous
 
In addition to good video content, I find the title and hashtag are two equally important things to get TikTok to recommend your content bro.
