How threaded email have an impact on open rates? Will it open the previous mail once again?

Just curious to know if I have threaded an email with the same subject line then what effect it will have in the previous email open rate? Will it be counted twice if a user opens the latest thread.

if your tracking system is properly configured it will count as 1 only. no matter customer opens it 100 times.
