%43 of anchor text comes from exact match anchor text.

We are afraid of passing %3 exact match ratio on our website.

And this website is ranking "hotmail sign up" keyword on 2nd position.

How could this happen?

Is this website some SEO guys called churn burn?

Why Google is allowing this site to get ranked on these keywords?

u have much bigger overoptimization limit for words that are in ur domain name

Don't think it's considered good etiquette to share other people's websites here btw.

What sort of backlinks are they?

Look after 15 days. Things will drastically change.

This is not my website

If sharing name of the website is against the rules, I can remove it.

My 2 cents:

1/ the domain is PMD, therefore he is less prone to a penalty as hotmail is in the domain name,
(which by the way could be trademark infringement in itself)

2/ the links are still quite fresh/new, so the penalty may still come in the next few weeks.

3/ churn and burn? seems to be.

On the other hand, there is no adsense or any affiliate link on the website

I'd say churn and burn, but I don't see ads/aff links on the pages i Checked. Also given the trademark in the domain its hard to imagine he/she could monetize this for a long time before MS will just grab the domain from her/him/

I didn't open the website but I guess he try to rank a fake login page? Maybe he just want to steal email and password from users. After that he could resell the data. Some dirty shit.

Well, as with anything, matt cutts says something, the seo circle jerk community gets in a frenzy someone says something that worked for them in 1 niche and then boom. It's law. Persons say 3% because they want extremely long term longevity, but in a real scenario 3% is useless. And really not easy to achieve.

The % scales inversely depending on the number of links you build, build 50 links? if even 5 are exact match then boom you're at 10% and that is pretty much impossible to consider as "Overoptimized". If you build 10k backlinks and 1000 of them have the exact match though it becomes far more obvious.

You are right.

So what is the point of this website?

May be some kind of black hat techniques the website owner have used, google penalty will change the overview of the site.

It is a churn and burn site, if there are no ads right now, there will be as soon as it starts pulling in serious traffic.

Can anyone with ahrefs download for me backlinks from this website and give me?

No not definitely at all, only Google spam team can answer you this, everything is pure speculation.
It's speculation, but assuming that the longevity of the site in the SERPs is probably rather limited, is at least an educated guess.
