How This New Website Achieve High DR with Good Backlinks

Hi,

I was analyzing one of my competitor's websites. This is an EMD website with only 2 months old, but they achieved 63 DR and 803 Referring Domain backlinks. Though their backlinks are spammy, but not from highly spammed websites. They are getting backlinks from very low-spammed blog comments, low or zero spammed forum posts, etc. Interestingly they are achieving good rankings for different high competitive keywords too. They have other few EMD websites, which are also in same track.

I am also building links for my website, but ahrefs is showing very low DR and only showing 35 root domain backlinks. However we built more than 200 backlinks till now.

How actually they are doing such type of amazing things? Are they using any automated tools to build the backlink (though it does not look like the links are built using automated tools, as links are getting from very low spammed websites) and using any indexing tools to index the backlink fast? Need expert advise please.

As for the ahrefs, I'm running away from them as their metrics are going crazy for the last couple of months, not sure what's going on with them.

I will suggest to use Semrush, it's far better.

I didn't gave answer on your question directly, metrics are easy to manipulate, DA/PA means nothing tbh.

I have a website that ahrefs is showing all metrics 0's but I have almost 5 digits in traffic so, math is clear.

I know metrics do not matter, but the thing is their stats are very good - backlinks, traffic, dr etc. and all are growing rapidly. But the domain is very new.
