How this much traffic?

Site1: organic keyword: 5k, (organic)Traffic: 113k, backlink: 715, Posts: 88
Site 2: organic keyword: 38k, (organic)Traffic: 88k, backlink: 3,148 Post: 300+

How Site 1 getting lot of traffic as comapre to Site2 ? It is SEO or something else??
So, what factors we should consider to get traffic like Site 1 :)

Not all backlinks are equal. Age and site history also plays a role.

New sites with poor profiles outranking big guys all the time this year.

I think it's good thing.
 
Bigger numbers != better.
Content could be higher quality, topic/niche is more popular on google, backlinks could be higher quality and website it self is maybe higher quality with more authentic content and with better server which could result in better ranking etc.
For the long term, always choose quality over quantity.
 
If in the 5k keywords there are some keywords with huge search volume and you rank first where you get 30% of the volume it's possible.

You can rank high for: "insurance new york" and that's it, huge volumes. Or you can rank high for : "dandelion", "roses", "blueberry",

Content quality = 0, Google doesn't have people specialized in literature reading every article posted and ranking them.

The behavior of the user is what determines Google to say good/bad quality. If they stay long on your page and go through 2-3 articles, Google alg. will see a small bounce rate, a high session duration and a high number of sessions per user and will say "by my metrics this content is solving our problem(giving people answers") and put you higher.

All this metrics can be "made" with a slick inter-linking or something clever to lower the bounce rate and make user go through a few article/pages.

Probably the search volume of the keywords in site one us much higher those of site two.

Site two might actually be 'stronger' SEO-wise. But since they're in likely in different niches with different competition and obviously different search volumes, traffic is expected to be different.

You gave up the secret to rank on google with least efforts. Very important share on bhw.

Site 1 might have high search volume keywords focused.
 
That is quite easy to discuss about. The number one factor to look at is the search volume before any other thing.
 
Site 1 is ranking for more high volume keywords. Hence, you should target such keywords since you got enough backlinks.
