Hello,
I am new to SEO and I want to learn more about parasites and how to rank them, recently I find a lot of games hack parasites that are ranking in the first page, but when I check for backlinks in Ahrefs, there is always 0 backlinks even the content is so bad. I'm just wondering how they are doing it??
this is my first question here btw :):)

In some niches, the content published on the parasite is all you need to rank.

I got a lead earlier today in a foreign country worth $$$ just by having had a Medium.com parasite up for a couple of months. All I did was upload the content, and it was really shitty. Think 250 words of keyword stuffing, more or less.

I've done this in many local, foreign niches and it's working really well. Just my 2 cents.

You publish on medium in foreign language?

The rank as a result of the authority and trust of the parent domain which somehow trickles down to those specific parasite pages. To achieve a faster and even better results backlinks are needed sometimes but not always though.

Need a body of content on site so that build their overall authority on the topic and within the niche. while data says most websites ranking in Google have at least one backlink, this proves that actually rank for low and medium-volume keywords without any backlinks at all.

Kindly use the search icon you can find lots of guide
I read most of the guides about parasites, most of them say that you need backlinks to rank your parasite but when I saw some of them rank in the first page I was a little bit confused. Anyway, thank you so much for your reply.

Yeah I think they just put content and forget about it until it ranks without the need of backlinks. I thought that maybe there is a trick or something. Thank you so much for your time

I was thinking that backlinks are a must to be somewhere in the first pages. Thank you

all the parasite I saw ranking were ranking for low competition keywords, maybe that's why they don't need Backlinks. thanks for

It is quite simple actually. All you need to do is find low competition keywords, write high quality content that matches the searchers intent, have decent on-page SEO, publish it on a high authority domain like LinkedIn, YouTube, and promote it on social platforms. This may seem like a lot of steps, but each step is relatively simple and after doing it successfully once, you can rinse and repeat.

No, backlinks are not must to be in the first page. I have a parasite on medium sitting on position 4 for long now(I never built a single link to it), I stopped tracking or checking anything because I only used it as an experiment and it wasn't something I could properly monetize.

Prior to attaining this position, other sites ranking here were really strong and high authority. Surprising.

High authority host, low competition keywords, basic onpage seo, combination.

Also, the robots from backlink checkers like Ahrefs are easily blocked from your site, so they wont be visible.

Did you do any keyword research / competition analysis beforehand for the foreign language?
Also do you think that link building would have helped you to rank quicker?
Thanks

I only used Keyword Shitter to generate tons of long-tail keywords for said foreign, local niche.

Yes, it would have but this was something I did in bulk. Published maaany posts without building any links.

Parasite sites are strong on their own. It depends on the keyword difficulty some may rank without backlinks. But they could also be using PBNs.

Game hack is a very high competitive niche. Pretty sure they hide the backlinks.

I've also seen, because they have good links on their main domain that's why their posts is ranking without links
