Okay guys, here goes short story I was thinking about getting myself challenge into new niche for late 2014 and 2015, a site that has most social sharing power.

I was thinking about something like 9gag, they have most powerful social sharing power, something very leverage and still trending. And here is list and a few sites that you may have already know.

Code:
.damnlol
.eatliver
.funnyjunk
.porkystuff

and a whole bunch of other similar ones you can name them, those guys are getting massive of social traffic daily. The market is not new but I feel it still trending and easy to dominate or at least go authorized.

Here I few things it's seem I can not shaking off myself

1/ Site like damnlol currently #2 just only after 9gag, but this guy not monetize with Adsense, such a wasted. I remember they put adsense on before but don't know what happen for example like if they have found another network which pay more than Google or they just got banned from Adsense, or Google does not love these type of traffic... ect

2/ Okay, this is important part. Those LOLs sharing mostly funny pics and mostly get involve with a network name MGID which is like a exchange traffic flatform, but this guy is a huge, have a look at this 1 over million pages this site got

Code:
http://mgid.com/mg5829.html

Which will embed into your site for exchange traffic, so basiclly these type of sites is something like set-and-watch-money-roll-in

I need more from you guy experts if this niche is for you and help me clear some doubts above

Most people that had fan-pages on Facebook based around funny photos started making sites and embedded the URL on the image when Facebook started blocking links thats how most of those sites you listed came about so if you have a funny photo fan page it might be worth making a site.

I thought of this b4, but the main problem is where can i find these funny images.

Are you serious? What kind of question is that, funny img everywhere, go steal them

Stealing is not always a good idea, but if you want to steal you can manage the picture on Photoshop with your own text!

Or use a mass watermarking tool, that way you don't have to touch every single image.

Then write the disclaimer saying that you have no control over the content it is user submitted etc. and then if someone is threatening to sue you just delete the image they're whining about. Shouldn't happen unless you start uploading Jennier Lawrence's nudies though.

Mostly not monetized with adsense,because
1, Thin content
2, The admin of the website has only little control over the 100's of thousands of images uploaded by the users,

This way can't guarantee that the website will be following adsense rules.
The other point is really good to start a new site. The only problem:these sites that u mentioned, most of the time they have huge amount of FB pages in their possession with a lot of million likes.

In case you have big pages,it is possible to profit nicely from FB.

Well you could allways download the content and then edit a little bit then your really just taking inspiration for it.

You wont make money if:
1) you copy other ideas/pages that already succeed
2) you post your ideas online

There is lot of way these sites can earn money.

1. Using Advertisment service.
2. Email Compaign

Well create new site like gag9 or other you can't get success unless you have huge facebok like (real like which you have collected online) or twitter follower ...

Thanks,

my only question is where people find all these funny images haha, probably by following other people who post them and just reposting them

yeah people just scrape them probably. i would. why copy when you can steal. and once you get the traffic, monetization will follow. Look at it this way

great monetization + little traffic = no money
terrible monetization + tons of traffic = some money

Easy to build and watermark. However marketing this is tough because it's a competitive niche where social sharing is the main goal. I would start with a big facebook page and point it to the website.

Right now everyone's jumping on this bandwagon... I'd like to know how to get more traffic. I have a few sites like this too, but just hard to get people to share unless you have a huge following already.

The hardest is to get followers to begin with, next is Facebook's algorithm. I've noticed that Facebook doesn't show articles as much as an uploaded video to your friends and followers news feed.
