How the US TARIFF affects the crypto market!

According to realDonaldTrump, the US Tariff plan will bring fairness to the US economy.

The hit here is that, other countries, because this is not as normal as before, now see this as a threat to their economy saying it’s imposed on them..

Today 2nd April, the crypto, stock, forex market is in pause cuz everyone is waiting to see what happens today..
Is this gonna bring Reciprocation to other under developed countries?

The tariff plan might in theory “bring fairness to America”—cut deficits, boost jobs—but it’s a gamble. Less developed countries won’t reciprocate equally; they’ll either capitulate or retaliate weakly.

It has a substantial effect on the cryptocurrency market by heightening volatility and triggering short-term sell-offs driven by economic uncertainty and inflationary pressures. This is why, nowadays, people are more inclined to invest in gold
 
Alrighty, I've edited the title and OP's post so that this takes the politics out of the discussion. I do think we should be able to talk about a country's policy on Crypto, banking, etc that affects our businesses in DM. HOWEVER, if anyone else brings up the big T's name they will be getting a Prohibited Content warning.

I feel like short term we’re in for some more pain, which at the other hand will bring in some good opportunities to scoop up some cheaper satoshi’s.

I’m personally still very bullish on BTC long term and I’m actively DCAing in.
 
Tariffs could cause volatility in the dollar exchange rate. If the dollar weakens, cryptocurrencies could attract capital inflows due to their inflation hedging properties.
 
It has been good to see how well BTC has held up this week! Though not sure how long it holds if the Nasdaq keeps puking.

Even a modest recession multiple of 15x earnings puts S&P down 25 - 30% from the high, which probably means that Nasdaq could be down 40%+.
 
The big whales utilize fundamentals related news or events to make it appear that the crypto market is going up or down due to such news or events. In reality the big whales manipulate prices, the fundamentals are used by the big whales to make pumps and dumps appear "natural" in order to create their fakeouts to trap gullible traders.
 
Terrible for risk markets. S&P and NASDAQ down 10% in two days. Worst drop since COVID. But strangely BTC held up. This worries me.

It also brings me to a thought and a wish: have you ever thought about whether people have finally realized that the solution to this government madness is in fact the crypto market? Have you ever thought about whether now is the time for us to disconnect from traditional markets?

The US tariff plan could lead to other countries retaliating with their own tariffs, especially developing nations. This would hurt global trade and could cause economic problems in these countries. The market pause shows uncertainty as everyone waits to see what happens. If other countries strike back, it could lead to more trade issues worldwide.
 
Tariffs are not a permanent thing

So just a temporary correction and then bounce back. This correction is healthy imo

Even the Indian stock market was just going upwards after COVID. So this correction was required.
 
So far crypto is resisting very well, let's see how it will perform next week

There was major impact of this announcement. Like shares of even big companies like Apple were impacted by this. It would be interesting to see the impact on crypto but I do not feel the impact will be like share market in case of crypto.
