How The Hell Is This Happening?

I know the title is a little misleading but I wanted to see if some guru's on here knew/know how a certain site is doing what its doing. Basically its like this. I have a couple warez sites 1 which has been banned from google adsense and the other which was warned to take down the ads before getting banned. Ok, no problem. The question is I know of another warez site that has been around for the same amount of time, has about the same alexa rank as ours (at the time around 20,000) and they even have porn, movies, apps, etc but YET they STILL have google ads on their site. Its not like this is a little site that google isnt noticing, its a nice sized warez site thats been around for about 7 or so years. My question is how in the hell do we get caught after 2 months but its been AT LEAST 2 years that this site has had google ads on their site and they havent been banned?

I know most will say that they have been lucky to fly under the radar, they may know someone at google who lets them slide, etc but fuck all that....they MUST be doing something to where they have a legit site somewhere and is somehow getting clicks on their warez site but its registering from their legit site. I know some may say this is bullshit or that that cant happen but i see no other way around it..lol

Anyone have any idea?

I don't necessarily agree with you, but there is only one way to confirm your theory. Go through that source code line by line and report back :D
 
Well my friend owned a Russian torrent site that was in the 1600 Alexa range, and he had Adsense on it for over a year. When he switched to CPA he was still not banned from AdSense. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with bringing up flags causing them to look into you. Other than that we have no idea how Google works on matters like this.
 
I tried looking for something that would allow you to follow a link and then see what your browser says the referer is. Other than just looking at the history tab I didn't find anything right off the bat. I did find this site though that looks like it can run through your whitehat site which might possibly be the type of solution your looking for.

Like I said I just did a quick search and didn't really read through it all too closely.

I thought of that too, but then I thought it might be done in such a way as not to show up in the viewable html source.

Then of course the first theory might just hold true and the site just hasn't been caught yet. If thats the case, (and if the OP wants to be a dick), then there's an obvious solution to even the playing field.
 
Heres the site itsbx.com just so you can see. boxden.com is there actual discussion forum that has no downloads so maybe they are using boxden as the legit site and itsbx.com as the site that is acting like boxden...lol..im just confused as hell...lol

Answer to the OP: Learn and move on. Obviously they have been in the game longer than you, so don't expect to compete with them. Start off with something smaller.

LOL....I'm not "competing" with them...one of my sites has way more traffic then they have. My question is how are they running google ads on a warez site. I don't understand where you guys are getting this "competition" thing from. I wish every web master on the net the best. I know its no easy task to run a site regardless what content you have.
 
Google searches through your pages to provide the best advertisements. It is possible that their website is blocking Google's attempt to look at the content. However, then they wouldn't have relevant ads. It is also possible that they have a script that removes the Google ads from pages that do not comply with their TOS. I have gone through very similar problems. Hope it works out for you.
 
Preciate the feedback bro. Again, I'm just trying to gain information. I'm just rtying to gain as much revenue as possible. If we all can eat then thats great. Its enough money to go around for all of us thats why its good to share resources.
 
I'm the expert here but here is a suggestion. The other warez site you are saying is running the ads could be somehow misleading goggle that the trafic comes from another source, but not their site. There was a post about that here on BHW forums but it was about misleading a cpa provider the same thing. I bet this could be done with AdSense as well.

Here's a thought. How about iframing the ad. Blanking or changing the referrer to the iframe and removing robot access with robot.txt or .htaccess. Also including the iframe on a white hat site where the spiders can crawl it.

I personally would not risk it, but a CPA offer would convert better I think.

I had a warez site myself, but never did anything with AdSense. Only used a CPA Gateway on one of my other sites. Any recommendations on getting traffic for warez from other places than katz and phazeddl? I never did any SEO on it either. Hmm maybe I should start promoting my warez site again :P

I'm a member at both sites and never noticed that...and lol at you puttng them on blast
