So far I have been trying to using ppv too, media traffic not converting, direct cpv hardly break even. PPC, I can get a better ROI s though.

I had terrible success with ppv, using directCPV
An email submit once in awhile.
Once I had NoNo Hair removal lead from targeting the main site.

That doesn't actually matter, but as suggested by others you should try to put the important things in the top fold of the page.

800x600 would certainly help you win over the netbook user crowd though seeing as how their resolution is fairly limited depending on their screen size, but use 10.1" screens and support 1024 resolution so *shrug*
