How the hell do you find long tail keywords?

My niche is not that big, but even there everything is priced the hell in and everyone ALREADY knows you have to look for long tail keywords and that is public information, so everyone is doing that ALREADY.

If everyone is doing that ALREADY, then by definition it doesn't work.

All big youtubers give this advice, but they are full of shit, because the exact reason they give this advice the long tails are already taken by every small new youtuber wannabe.

So what other method a new channel can use?

I have ability to produce quality content (above average). And it has been reviewed as such (by strangers, not my family).

How do I get the word out?

What is best way to choose topics?

So.. pick a niche with less competition?

Not sure if I misunderstood you though.
 
You gotta keep looking sadly. I took an emotional decision and decided to open an SEO website instead of going for another niche (basically competing with the people who "should" know the most) and still find articles to write about, just much harder.

Everyone does that. There is a limit to long tails that youtube and google shows. All of those are saturated. This niche is already a minor one and isn't even listed in many youtube forums. So "picking another niche" does not apply.
All big youtubers suggest this bullshit method and this is why everyone is doing it and it is way too efficient and overused. I need to come up with a different method on my own sadly. Just shows you how much bullshit advice there is on internet.

Your problem is that you are looking for a niche where you can have an entire pie. There is no such thing as getting the entire pie these days. You have to settle for a SLICE of the pie, so there will be other sites or channels you have to compete with. Through becoming an authority with lots of quality content and a decent knowledge of SEO, you can overcome most of them and have a bigger slice, but even with your best efforts there will be new sites and old that compete with you.

If that's not something you want, keep looking for niches. If you can't find any, get a regular job like everybody else does.

There is competition in EVERYTHING. It's not about finding "non existent keywords" its about finding them where the competition is either lacking or the results do not match the users search / query.

All of your posts OP (no offence) sound like you don't understand how it works ...
 
You're completely looking at it the wrong way.

When someone makes a search, they aren't instantly forwarded to the site with the highest ranking.

Every searcher is different and looks for different things when they make a search.

Just because there is competition on the first page, that doesn't mean you can't create a unique piece of content about that topic, but come at it from a different angle and use a headline that grabs the searchers attention.

You can rank in position 3 - 10 and still get traffic from a keyword.

Also, don't sell yourself short. Just because there is competition there, it doesn't mean that you can't beat it in the future.
 
Use Google related keywords at the bottom, or a tool like long tail finder

There's always barrier entry in every business. It is a challenge. If you're not up to it, you'll never make it anywhere. Advice on going for long-tail keywords is legit but you call it B.S. Then what stopping you to go big, challenge those big youtubers. On serious note, unless we have the resources, be it personality, audience, etc, we all must start small step by step.

I have few videos which were targeting four-words keyword. Now they dominate the two-words kws, even rank on distant-relevant kws. But when I started the channels, I have zero views on most of them. It takes time, patience, effort AND keep learning and improving.
 
long tail keyword have so many variation, and the purpose is finding the keyword, where you can Beat the competiton so you can get traffic.
this is the research part, does the ranked content have better quality? how much backlink, and sm share it have is the domain niche related etc.

After making the content you can do Social media outreach,or promote it using ads. so you content can rank faster.
