Well I just reinstalled the computer back to factory condition yet again, thus it is not the OS.
It just doesn't make any damn since that it would just stop working out of nowhere.. it has done it before.. some people have this problem for days or even weeks without finding a fix.

I think its your network card, i have seen these things before. Did you also try to setup a static IP? If that didnt work, i suggest you run to the store and get a new card or USB dongle.
The other devices are connecting fine to your router/modem right? If you want i can take a look with teamviewer.

Always start with layer 1.
HARDWARE. Check for breaks in cables. Check for ANY kind of comms between the Modem and the router. Then check the router hardware. Do you have a status LED? Is it lit? Is it blinking? Do you have a manual for the router that tells you what the different LED blink patterns mean?
If you have another modem, and/or another LAN cable, test all the combinations. If you have another router, check that with your alternative LAN cable and Modem.
Your friend's internet connection is working. Have you tried taking the modem/cables to their house and testing them?
If all this fails, THEN start looking at layer 2. And so on.

Again, there are other computers connected and they are fine. It's not the modem, there's no breaks in the cables or ports, I've switched out the ethernet cord being used.
I understand you have to start with basic troubleshooting but trust me.. I have tried all of that... I need advanced solutions now, this is a very complex problem.
It has been two days, I am so beyond pissed, I tried to call Emachines and all I got was a damn Indian who I couldn't understand, I don't know what else to try.. if it's something the computer is doing then buying a new NIC is not a solution...
I know most people won't read any of the previous posts so once again...
"Local Area Connection" Does Not Have A Valid IP Configuration
It's pulling me a 169 IP address, yet if I plug a wireless card into the computer, that wireless card works. I've tried releasing/renewing, re-installing windows, uninstalling the adapter, switching out cables, connecting directly to the modem, resetting winsock.

I've mentioned it a couple times and you have not commented so once again:
Go to network and sharing center > manage network connections
DELETE local area connection and ALL other connections you find there
REMOVE/UNINSTALL any/all virtual machines and/or virtual boxes, etc and bonjour
REBOOT > let the lan reinstall.
If no relief UPDATE the nic drivers with the latest OEM drivers and NOT windows drivers.
What OS are the computers NOT having problems? If none of them are win 7 then
UPDATE the router firmware to latest as it may not have the win 7 support, etc.
If they are running win 7 and NOT having your problem then the router should be ok.

It says This connection can not be deleted.
Local Area Connection is the only one present
With the OEM drivers and not Windows Drivers? How do I do that?

uhm... try turning off your modem for at least 10 secs, then turn on, if its win7 run network troubleshooter and let it fix the ip configuration error. if this doesn't work, try doing the same step for your router.

The Windows Troubleshooting repair is a complete and utter joke.
I'm definitely looking at getting a mac instead.. I'm tired of random Windows errors, having to restart after doing anything.. Windows is just pure garbage ever since Vista.
But first I want this damn problem fixed.. it's driving me insane that I can't find a solution for it.

Ok go to device manager > network adapter and find your nic and delete it
reboot
CANCEL when it tries to reinstall
go back to the network connections and delete the local area connection
reboot
let it reinstall, etc.
OEM (original equipment manufacturer) is your nic's manufacturers latest drivers.

I'm on a Windows 7, how do I stop it from installing?
I uninstall the network adapter, reboot and it just installs.. there's no option to cancel it and it installs it within like a couple of seconds.. it just comes up on the taskbar saying "Installing the software for your new found driver" or some shit.

How To Disable Automatic Driver Installation In Windows 7 / Vista
Go to Start->Search type in gpedit.msc
Click the file to open the Local Group Policy Editor and show Windows who is in control!!
You want to go here:
Computer Configuration-> Administrative Templates-> System-> Device Installation.
Click on the subfolder Device Installation on the left and on the right side you will see the possible restrictions.
Right Click on Prevent Installation of Devices not described by other policy settings and edit this option, set it on ENABLED.
Reboot Windows and enjoy its inability to pollute your system with its standard driver, open gpedit.msc again and revert the change so you will be able to install your driver.
MPITFA ain't it - windows should be progressively MORE user friendly

Yep, I am officially starting to literally lose my mind. I can't find a proper driver for this piece of shit.
Nvidia Nforce Networking Controller. I downloaded what I thought was correct and apparently wasn't, and now.. the driver won't uninstall and it just sits stuck on Disabled all the time. If you try to uninstall it from the hardware manager it just gets stuck at "Uninstalling"
Oh and now my computer gets stuck at Shutting Down... so I have to force it to turn off every single time now. I can't find much help or websites on this driver because not many people have it.. much like many people don't EVER run into or have this problem.. figures I'd get it.

i cbf reading the posts but if it hasnt been said just login on the router after a factory reset 
Looks like it's not the OS problem, don't mess with OS anymore. Since you don't want to try a new router, I suggest you buy a new NIC (network card). I believe it's gonna work, give it a try. Good luck.
