Basically, I still haven't got any backlinks indexed (blog comments)... I was just wondering approximately how long it took everyone else to see their first backlink indexed through the blog comment posting...!

thanks

It takes awhile - the SE's are generally pretty slow when it comes to indexing blog comments.

ok, that's sort of good to hear... I thought I was a hopeless cause. I will report back as soon as I get something indexed... if anyone else has information please share.

I have has scrapebox for just over a week now. In the yahoo site explorer my one site has already between 300 to 400 more links than it did 10 days ago. I have submitted to thousands of blogs though.

I have been blasting every other day. I would be doing it everyday but I am so busy with other work. I noticed the first significant increase (100+links) in about 5 days...

after i posted comments i use the scrapebox "Check Links" function to check which of my posted comments is already on the blog and not moderated or deleted. i gather the succesfuly posted comments and ping the whole list with blogpinger 2.0. after the pinging the new comments get usually indexed very fast. you can get the pinging tool for free in the download section.

Yep. Damn Search engines are slow.

If you want to speed things up, here's a fun tip:

Take your list of URLs that you posted your comments on and ping them. If you are posting insane amounts of comments, then you should split up the process over the course of a few hours to a whole day.

I use a Mass Pinger software with proxies and it works great for me.:D

That's what I do too, but to ping I just click on the Scrapebox ping button instead of using an outside tool.

Why are you using blogpinger and not the built-in scrapebox pinger if I may ask?

And this is why I love u guys BHW b/c I had this exact question looking for pinging strategies and there is already a thread with great info. Awesome.

Just an FYI.....some comments get auto approved. One of the KEY FACTORS to getting the moderated ones approved is to make sure your dynamic comment is a good one that will cover most aspects of the different blogs. I make 2 to 3 sentence comments with about 6 to 9 words or phrases that dynamically change. Once you have set this up before you go bonzai posting..use the awesome TEST COMMENT tool and run through about 5 or 6 of them to make sure the read correctly. I have set up comments that I thought made sense and after testing I was like WTF? A moderator would never approve it lol....here is a quick very simple, very basic example.....

I have {visited|been to|frequented} your {website|site|blog|port|posts} before. The more I {read|visit|take in|learn}, the more I keep coming back! (;~)|;-)|:-)|;-P}

I hope that makes sense ....lol

Post pages usually have the lowest priority for re-crawling (1 month+ or even more). So if you spam blog comments then just leave it there and forget about it. I never look back how much backlinks indexed because I will use my time on other useful stuffs.

As Yukinari said, you could ping your backlinks but I highly recommend that leave it alone.

I use both, but I just like to use different tools sometimes to mix things up a bit.

well just an update... i checked yahoo site explorer and I got a few of my blog comments indexed in the site explorer... but not in google...

will these transfer over later?

plus... they are in yahoo site explorer but not in the actually yahoo search engine index.... when I type in my domain www.domain.com it doesn't show the blogs that I commented on.

Don't hold your breath waiting for them to show in Google. Probably they will never show up in Google, but that doesn't mean they are not indexed

well i need google to index them... so what's the point of scrapebox

@SpeedDemon: you do things not right and then want to bitch about software? Come on dude. Instead of bitching you should learn how stuff works and improve your skills. Everything have a price and you have to pay your time to figure it out.

not right? your fucking stupid. I obviously did it right if my comments are posted. I just have not got it indexed yet and I'm frustrated. Everyone made it seem like "LOLZ IM GETTING INSTANT BACKLINKS" and I have only got 1. I'll wait and report back

Getting instant backlinks.
Sometimes 1 day... sometimes less than a week.

Are you pinging the submitted comment?
