How some competitors in ahres have like 100k backlinks ?

Almost any competitor have like between 100k and half a milion backlinks . For websites which have like 50-100k traffic.

How is that possible ? Blackhat ?

They buy links, so ofcourse it's blackhat. If you want to have this many links and for them to be quality at that, you got to buy and that's the truth.
 
Obviously I think it's blackhat.
I made millions of backlinks to my sites using gsa
 
The question is why is it not penalised which many preach all the time.
 
100k backlinks is not that crazy imo. You can do this yourself with GSA or buy a few SEO packages here on BHW.

It is impossible to buy so many links. Most of the sites op referring to are genuine sites which get mentioned by other sites.
 
These are mostly from same Domains. Eg adding links to sidebars which gives you thousands of link from single domain or website. Which is worthless.
Eg you can check this on any Ning website
 
100k backlinks can seem insane, but it's not always blackhat. Sometimes it's just age and consistency. An old domain with years on the clock can accumulate a ton naturally.
