How Skype verification looks like?

Some PPI networks require you to provide them with your Skype nick. What do they need it for? Do they contact every applicant via Skype? Do they video call them or just text-chat? If they use it to sift the good applicants from the bad, what are they looking for in an applicant?

Many of them ask for but i dont think they will do anything with that skype. I think that is to help them communicate with you to improve your account stat. I have also given my id to lots of PPI networks but i havent ever got any response in Skype from those networks. I dont no what do they do it.

It's good for yourself if they want your skype, if there's any problems with installer or payments you can always communicate directly and fast. They prob just want to see who you are and ask for your ppi traffic's source (if it's legit)
