How should I write on my cv my online marketing experience?

Hi
I was doing internet marketing for a couple of years while I was working in several shty jobs ...
Now I have found some jobs looking for IM entry level... Asking for google ads, seo, google analytics and so on... Things I am familiarise with them, but what exactly should I write in my CV?
Is ok to say that I was running personal businesses? I have no idea how the employer would react if I say that...

Companies into digital marketing when hiring a person , are more bothered about relevant skills , so inspite of you doing internet marketing freelance ( along with a job ), still , yes , go ahead and mention about that in your resume , it will be helpful. But at the same time , also have things to back it up , such as during an interview , go with your internet marketing earnings proof , proof of domains or websites you own or owned , basically any proof that you were into freelance internet marketing and demonstrate your skills in the interview. But, do not bluff in anyway - only include the skills that you really know. Having some certifications in digital marketing will be very helpful too. Considering that you have Google Ads skills but no certification and you are too busy to wrtie the tests to get certified , then head over to Fiverr (there are many gigs there where seller will write the tests for you to get your various Google Ads certifications. Search in Fiverr and also Google "google ads certification fiverr" and you will get to those. So , you will have legit certifications to back up the skills that you already have in Google Ads. Combine smart work with hard work and you are good to go.
And remember - if you are ever rejected after an interview for a job , then NEVER feel bad about it. Forget it ( see if you have any aspect to improve on) and go for the next interview. Do not let anything at all whatsoever affect your motivation. You take control of that and just keep chasing your goals. Every failure is an opportunity to learn something out of it , then improve and try again.

Make a simple, nice portfolio. With your skills, past projects, other stats. You should be able to land a job. People are more bothered about skills you possess.

To answer your specific question, just write Internet Marketing / Digital Marketing / SEO Specialist working on Upwork for the last <insert_number> years. Most big companies know what upwork is and their business model.

It's what I did with my python skills, and in the end, it did land me a job.
