Hi, I would like to survey the required template when running an engagement campaign. Can you share your metrics when choosing engagement as the objective and which metrics do you usually focus on to optimize and increase followers for your page?

Getting a good template set up really comes down to knowing which metrics matter most for your goals—stuff like CTR, CPC, conversions, ROAS, etc. A simple Google Sheet can do the job, or you can use something like Looker Studio if you want it more visual. Once it's dialed in, it saves a ton of time when reviewing campaigns.

If you're running engagement campaigns to grow followers, focus on content that gets real interaction (likes, shares, comments). Good CTR and cheap CPC help, but the real trick is using viral-style posts that bait comments or opinions. From there, retarget warm users with follow-based creatives. Some use cheaper geo traffic first to build social proof, then push it to main regions. If your account’s limited or results are stuck, it might be due to account trust or setup. With better setups (like certain agency-type accounts), things just scale smoother. Not saying too much here, but some setups unlock better algo behavior.

For engagement campaigns, I usually track metrics like reach, likes, comments, and shares. Those help gauge how well the content connects with the audience and drives interaction. Happy to share more details if you need!

Use a template focusing on key engagement metrics like CTR, CPM, CPC, Post Engagement, and Page Likes. Optimize by testing creatives, targeting high-interaction audiences, and tracking cost per result to scale what's working.

To set up a working template for Facebook Ads metrics, create a spreadsheet or dashboard with key columns such as Campaign Name, Objective, Ad Set, Impressions, Reach, CTR (Click-Through Rate), CPC (Cost Per Click), CPM (Cost per 1,000 Impressions), Conversions, Cost Per Conversion, and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). Update this regularly to track performance, identify trends, and optimize your ad spend. Use Meta Ads Manager to export data and automate reports if needed.

Important metrics to track
Depending on the campaign goals (conversions, leads, traffic, app installs, etc.), you should choose to track the following metrics:

Metric type Important KPIs
Cost & reach Spend, Impressions, CPM, Frequency
Interaction Clicks, CTR, CPC, Video Views
Conversions, Cost per Result, ROAS
Pixel (if applicable) ViewContent, AddToCart, Purchase
Lead (if BH) Number of leads, CPL, real/fake leads
Account quality Feedback score, rejections, page/account status

To run an engagement campaign, it is important to focus on real engagement like likes, shares, comments, and increasing followers to scale optimally.

When running engagement campaigns, I focus on CPM, CTR (All), and Cost per Engagement. To increase followers, I optimize for high engagement rate posts and retarget engagers with Follow CTAs

Great topic I usually focus on CPC, CTR, and page likes growth. Testing creatives early helps a lot with engagement cost. Curious what others track too.

Create a template in Excel or Google Sheets with columns like Campaign Name, Impressions, Reach, Clicks, CTR, CPC, Conversions, and ROAS. Update it weekly to track performance and optimize ads effectively.

For engagement campaigns, I usually track reach, post engagement (likes, comments, shares) and cost per engagement. If you are try to get more followers, watch your page closely. Small changes to your images, captions or who you target can make a big difference over time. Just keep testing and adjusting.

To create an effective Facebook ad tracking template, you need key metrics: CTR, CPM, CPC, ROAS, conversion rate. Organize by campaign, group, and ad level. Use Google Sheets or Excel and update regularly for optimization.

The number of comments, likes and shares are important metrics. But the cost per like/comment varies from person to person because it depends on many factors.

In advertising, I always care about the number of clicks, conversion rates, always update and analyze to come up with solutions to optimize the campaign.

Think of Engagement Ads as planting your best content seeds. The goal is for those seeds to not only attract fans, but also sprout into a strong interactive community (through comments, shares). The optimization is that you continuously nurture them with relevant content so that your Fanpage continues to grow.
