Alright fellas, something strange happened to me the other day and I don't know if I found a gold mine or what.

Okay so, I was running a pbn domain scraper the other night and I picked up one domain that had strangely.... amazing metrics. The domain I found was of the old and legitimate, louis vuitton site for canada that had just expired. This domain has a da and pa of 60+ and I did not hesitate to register it as it previously ranked #1 for searches such as "louis vuitton canada" which has about 25000 monthly searches and others.

I was planning on using this domain to create an affiliate site however I have yet to do so because I am worried that I will get a cease and desist letter from LV and ill lose the domain. I was thinking about ways to get around this and I am thinking of registering a second scraped clothing niche domain with power and 301 redirecting the highly authoritative louis vuitton domain to it. I figure going this route will be safer while still retaining most of the link juice so that the new domain will rank for what the louis vuitton one did.

I have never done a 301 redirect so I am unclear on some things, once redirected will the new domain rank for the same keywords the louis vuitton one previously did?

Best answer gets my personal list of 975 pbn domains

LV domains? lol there can't be any shittier domains out there.

All those clothings domains are 100% crap. Guaranteed!

As long as you don't have their brand name in the domain you can use it as an affiliate site.

If its a louis vuitton official site for Canada, then you are out of luck.Or if you have louis vuitton in the domain name ,also its a big no no. Its not worth putting work into a site and then having to take it down.

Or if somebody else was doing it as third party site for louis vuitton and wasn't able to renew it in time, then you are in big luck.

I'd do this:

1- Find a good domain with a nice brand name for whatever niche you want to target, make sure it's at least 2-3 years old to endure the 301.

2- Add a lot of content.

3- Once you have plenty of content (I DO MEAN PLENTY) 301 your LV domain to it and don't do any backlinks for a while until your ranking settles down. Make sure to ping your 301 as well.

Sell it to its previous owner(multiply your price). You cannot build safe site(fashion) on this domain, You can only redirect or maybe do some blog with fake owner Louis Vuitton in other niche, but traffic wont be targeted :D jk. Or made simple email opt in on that address and get some mails, and then mail subscribers with offers from fashion industry, but link to another of your fashion site not this one :). I dunno ive just panicked :D
