How should I monetize a porn related website?

Hello everyone,

I recently started a viral porn website (the kind where you have to send your personal URL to X visitors to unlock images/videos) and I'm looking for way to monetize it!

I have 2 'videos' (they're actually 2 images with a play button on it, but I do have the real videos) which you can unlock at 15 and 20 visitors, and I was planning on making those redirect to some porn site in exchange for money. However, I couldn't find anything that appealed to me (I searched the forums too!)

UPDATE: I was thinking of becoming an affiliate on rude.com but they don't respond to my emails. Does anyone have any advice for this? Or a website with an affiliate program like rude.com?

It has tons of potential but I think the locks need to go for one. Also, use some psychology, state that my ex girlfriend (this is wild but will get ppls attention) slept with my dad,(sounds like Jerry Springer but hang in there) and say your not sure if you should release the videos cause of your beliefs. Then on the bottom put a link to the video as they will think you forgot to take the link off and bam! You hit them with your referral link. Just think of it has your removing the link cause the video is disgusting and leave a small link at the bottom that says remove link here and trust me people will click. I have done this before and it has paid off.

On what company to use it depends. You could use porn or some cpa stuff but you will have to blank the referral on it. Hope some of this makes sense and helps.

To be honest, I think that's the worst idea ever I agree, the story could be a lot better, but I doubt many people actually read that part.

Also, I think making a small link at the bottom wouldn't really help as people tend not to scroll down all the way.

I might make a free video sample available and put an advertisement or something on the link. But what I currently really need is an actual way to make money.

Thank you for your comment though, I could be terribly wrong about your idea, and if what I currently have doesn't work out, I'll definately try yours!

Making money with a porn site is easy, however, this is NOT a porn site, it is a revenge script and has no purpose other than driving traffic for the few interested in looking at that girl's pics. For as little as these scripts always offer though, it isn't worth the effort. IF you are interested in making a serious adult site, make the thing pull a real service; cam shows, movies, decent pic collections...something of value for the investment, otherwise, it is already out there in abundance for free. You have to push some extreme value on the backend to get this stuff to work.

People that run sites like this are in the industry of running them full time if they are any quality. It isn't for someone trying to make a quick buck anymore. At the VERY low end of the scale, you could possibly build a bunch of free content on a site and make people sign up as members to get into your sites, protecting yourself from underage issues, as well as building yourself a mailing list and following.

Then, upgrading to interactive cam girls, high-end movies, and 1-on-1 hookup dating style services in one site. Think about it like a cross between adultfriendfinder, a camshow site and the freebie downloader sites. There is money to be made there and you can outsource the cam girls and stock footage for next to nothing with a little effort on your part.

As far as this revenge script goes, toss the thing, it is pointless for making money. It has been done to death.

What if I made a landing page with like 10 different girls? People can pick a girl of their liking, and it wil redirect to a page similair to what I have right now.

I don't feel like running a full high end porn website as I'm just trying to make some quick cash. It doesn't even have to be a lot.

I figured websites like these get quite a lot of visitors without having to do a lot of advertisement.

Only if your lucky, and usually only when your one of the first.

If you're looking for a business that isn't going to take a lot of promotion, IM isn't really going to be for you. It's possible to create a really cool website, have a few people pass it around and then it goes viral, but that isn't what usually happens.

For every SaveToby.com there are hundreds of thousands of struggling websites just hoping to get noticed. It's like the disclaimer on the infomercials you see on TV, "Results are not typical."

These viral revenge sites have been done to death but if you can get it to actually go 'viral' they can make some nice coin..

Tell your visitors that if they don't want to send any traffic to your site they can just click on the link below (which will take them to the pics but of course locked behind a cpa gateway of some kind). It really does work, people are stupid and will fill out the offers.

Thanks I'll try this, I signed up to clickbank a few days ago. Is it any good? I'm fairly new to this kind of stuff.

I think there is some C*P*A lead spinoff especially for adult content. That would be nice with the method that was mentioned above (making them fill out offers in a gateway). Not sure if its allowed to post the URL here though.
