Hi

I have a client who is a dentist. I made a website for him a long time ago and since then, he has been emailing me with revisions every once in a while.

today he emailed me, saying someone has approached him about taking pictures of the inside of his office and placing it in google maps. I am sure you know what I'm talking about, it's the google inside view feature that shows you the inside of an office or whatever.

Then he says "what do you think? should we add this? is it worth the price?"
I really dont know what to answer him. I am not concerned about my answer being "right"
I just want my answer to be "marketable"...I want my answer to make him look highly on me. I want him to think I know what I am talking about. So what should I say?

should I say "it's up to you"? (that's kind of lame)
should I say "well, it depends..."

I dont know how to answer this to make myself look good. can you help me?

PS The guy who solicited him says the price will be somewhere between $400 to $1000.

"Yeah doctor, that'd give your patients a reference of the quality of your place. I'd truly go for it. Right now my price for putting this up and promoting it for you is $15.000 - wanna pay in 2 or 3 installments doc?"

Hmmm... Why aren't you offering this service to your client? Isn't Google Maps optimization a service for local seo clients? You do provide seo service, right?

Since he's asking for your opinion, it's clear you've built a good relationship with him. He should be asking you, "Can you do this for me?"

come on dawg you gotta learn how to hustle these guys... Tell em that guy doesn't know what the hell hes doing and it will ruin business. But that you in turn know what the hell your doing and you will charge him 1-2k for this service. He either takes it, or takes it.

Hi guys
I do want to turn this into a money making opportunity, but that google pictures things requires you to get certified by google. It's not like anyone can just buy a camera and start doing it.
So any ideas how i can turn this into a money making opportunity?

Find someone who can get the job done for you

Do you know any Trusted Photographers local to the dentist? You can partner with them to keep his biz in your lap.

price seems fair .. normally the pics are more ???
