How safe is to add a telegram link in the subreddit sidebar?

I have a 50k subscribers subreddit for celebs.

I want to move the community to other place before the ban hammer comes.

My first idea is to Telegram.

I am also thinking on a website, but I need to get moving and I have no actual idea on what website to build for this.

So, if I put the telegram link in the sidebar would reddit ban me?

What about in the pinned posts?

Or as a reply on the automod?

Ive seen others do it, but this is my biggest subreddit ever, and I dont want to test with it.

How old is your subreddit? And is your subreddit owner account a big account with rich post history etc.

If your subreddit is old and highly active and your account that is owning a subreddit good, then I would not be scared to add link in pinned post or as a automod reply.

Pretty sure you can put the tg link in linktree or beacons and then put that link in reddit, those are safe. Just like of girls do.

i would prefer to put it in some sort of meta post link, that way you get a better SEO indexed post with the link on it, and you can link to meta stuff via the sureddit menu easily.

This is what I seen other popular subreddits do on some occasion and I think it looks more professional, and gives better contexts.

Subreddit is about a year old.

The original owner account had a good history, but unrelated to that subreddit, I had to delete the owner account. So I am holding it with 2 accounts, but they dont have a good history.

I could improve their history on reddit by posting in good subreddits tho.

Why not just buy a high quality aged account with good history?
