I am wondering if there is any risk in this since technically I am not doing anything wrong, but is in a niche that always has people getting into trouble.

I want to make a movie streaming site except there will be no videos on my site at all. No embeds, no nothing. It will just have fake watch now buttons that redirect to cpa offers or whatever.

Is there anything actually wrong with this? Since technically nothing is being shown or taken that is copyright. Under any circumstance I would say no, but solely because its the movie niche I ask.

loads of sites do this... seems like they never have the content and most people just click off.

In general naive users would fill in the survey.
I dont know if its illegal though maybe its the same as selling white powder as drugs but it really being flour and you can still get charged with the attempt of selling something as drug for profit.

Not sure though

Well you cant get sued for illegally streamig movies since you dont, I dont think there would be any problem with this.

Using the name of movies, posters, images etc for a profit without the owner consent represents a felony. I wouldn.t worry much about a lawsuit until u start making $xx,xxx a month. If u reach this numers and they sniff u its game over. Trust me been there done that.

If you are not showing or have any embed, you are in a green zone.

good luck bro, i would buy a vpn just to be safe. Austyn12x is who i buy one off for around 10$ a month and he does not keep logs, pretty amazing.

You mean the banned member Austyn12x, banned for multiple accounts????

Are you by any chance Austin12x? You seem to be pushing his skype in nearly every post you've made!!!!

Movie sites are risky unless you host everything on bulletproof servers nobody can access.

Just make sure you honor the few DMCA takedown requests that come in and put a nice captcha in order for them to send one in to avoid most falsified claims of removal.

That is the same as with any image. They can't go after everyone who does this. Just look any movie critque or review site. They use movie images. This makes no sense.

"been there done that".....go on
