I've ran into some doozies deleting posts that were definitely relevant (geographically) and run into some major attitude when trying to get a simple explanation. Also see others complaining on same subs although the posts don't last long

Depends on the subreddit.

Need more information.

Some mods are strict and quick to remove posts, even if they seem relevant, while others are more lenient. It can be frustrating when your posts get deleted without a clear reason, and it often feels like there are unwritten rules only known to the mods. Reaching out for clarification can be a mixed experience, depending on the mod's attitude or how busy they are. It’s a bit of a hit or miss.

Sometimes posts are deleted simply because they don't fully comply with a community's specific rules. Even if the post is geographically relevant, the nuances in the rules may be missed later.
