how remove footer links from SMThemes ?

i always delete footlinks by going in wordpress editor > footer category > clt+f to find the one word which you want to remove from footer duouble click on it and it will automatically highlight the footer link part simply delete it by pressing del or backspace and save the theme hope it will help you

I'm new here just joined today but like the other's I'm having the same problems on Janela - SMthemes... I tried index.php, functions.php, footer.php, bottom.php and using some plugins, it just wouldn't work. Could you help me on this... this is my first post, can't PM you.

Sorry for my English, I'm a Swiss Girl and we don't speak English.
I have the same problem with the footer.
I do this site for a customer and the site is finish. Now the customer doesn't want the other links in his footer.
I have tried everything and now I sit on the site the third day and I have still no solution.
:(
Could you help me?

LOL! Funny! Most of the guys asking for removal of the footerlinks have 3 or less posts. It looks like they only join the forum to have their footers removed! :)
 
Could you help me with a SM Theme? I uploaded you plugin but apparently it wasn't compatible with my version. I don't think I can send you a PM yet, if you don't mind sending me one.

I don't know if this plugin has been mentioned (I really don't want to read 10 pages right now) but I use the Theme Authenticity Checker. It will show you the lines of code that need to be removed. It's really simple.

I would like to request assistance. I have downloaded and install their computers theme and would like to get the footer links removed as well. I an new here so can not send a PM yet, if you will send one to me or request my email, I will be happy to provide the information needed for your assistance. Would prefer not to have to use any plugin's.

Tried it, but did not show anything in there. I must think its how they have encrypted them. I have had success in removing footers from Joomla templates, but this one is driving me crazy. I have downloaded a couple of templates from their site, to try and see how they are doing the footers, but it not been of any help.

Have spent the day browsing through these forums and trying possibly all the techniques listed here. I too need to remove the footer links from my SMthemes but the plugin you gave, the js file alternation - nothing seems to work. I'm hoping you can help (even though this is the first time I'm here). Please help

i downloaded architecture theme and it wont let me edit footer links ! i ve tried all possible techniques to get it but no luck
where can i find the restrictions to stopp adding filters to the footer

I have gotten myself SMThemes "business" installed and try as I may I can't git any of that footer off of there without getting a stern warning..

Wickedguy would ya look into this for me plz , heck I got here in 2008
