how remove footer links from SMThemes ?

I have found completely 3 layers of lock for that footer.

"they code these very clever" <-- it seem that you've found about the buttons.png trick

The rest (javascript lock) should be much simpler than that then.

Unfortunately I can't, cause then they will find out how I do it and change their algo. Pm me your ftp login and wordpress login

simply put the <div class='smthemes'> in another div ...let's say <div id='parent_footer'> and set its 'display:none' just as the following

<div id='parent_footer' style="display:none">
<div class='smthemes'>

</div>
</div>

it will hide the footer for ever .....

I just joined up here and we use three themes by them. Once I earn my privilege to PM you I will do so. What is sad is there are no WP themes that are free that look and operate like the SMThemes otherwise we would not be in this situation Appreciate there is someone like yourself who can work the fixes

Do not want to, "hide" he links. Wickedguy does not just hide the links, he removes them giving you full control of your footer. Does your css solution just hide it or does it give the same functionality the Wickedguy offers?

If you don't find it, download plugin "search and replace". Then in this plugin search for the URL that is at the bottom of your theme. The plugin will indicate in which file it is by clicking the drop-down menu. You may replace it, if you want by a website of your network.
