how rank without content

Hello

There are many sites that are not content based. i mean sites like online stores , Gift card or amazon,apple card stores and similar sites.
How i can rank this type of web sites on 1st page, while this websites do not have any content or articles.

If you are asking the question clearly your not qualified enough to rank these. I would suggest to start with some more .. Easy?
 
Are these sites that are ranking without content known brands?
 
e commerce sites have content and google likes store type of sites as they are direct merchants opposed to affiliates
 
Write articles. Even if they are not prominent on the site, they probably have a "blog" or something like that.
 
Backlinks is the answer to your question.

I think also that maybe google knows niches where textual content is low and they accommodate that.
 
I honestly thought this was going to be a parody thread of AlphaRacks' thread titled, "Rank website without link Building", but I was disappointed to see that this was not what I thought it would be.

Ecommerce stores have images, text, and even videos, all of which are considered content.

You can still do on-page SEO even with low content and even more important, you can do exactly the same off-page SEO like for any other website.. content is just a small part of the ranking algorithm.. read about the other known parts..
 
Nice OP. I honestly tell that you cannot get ranking without any content. But there is one way to get ranking is backlinks.
Choose 50 sites that related to your niche site and receives 1000+ visitors per day then get link from them. So that you can get 1000+ visitors to you site from your backlinks built sites and may get 50 conversion.

These sites do have content, although its not predominant. Websites with shops still have the text that includes the title of the products.

Although there is less content that what is traditional, it is still enough for Google to see what the site is all about.
 
There was a thread a couple of days ago where this was discussed. You can use controls that hide some of the text and only have a "Read more" link, or use a tabbed control and have multiple tabs with text/description/instructions/specs so it's HTML based content, google can see it, but it doesn't distract your visitors.

Content is a king, so you need unique contents to get rank for a site
 
so you say i might be able to rank a site with only pictures on it? with blog attached to the site?
