Hey guys, as we all know ai slop is taking over everything in music, youtube, art, etc. But when I'm listening to music on Spotify ill notice a song is AI generated (judging by the coverart & overall bland sound/absurd chatgpt lyrics). Then ill click on their page and see that the first ever track posted was from a month or two ago yet they already have like 1-2 million streams and a couple hundred thousand on other songs. When digging more ill check their socials such as ig, yt and tiktok and see that they barely have any posts/no content that went viral. How are they doing this? Botting on spotify to that extent is basically impossible at this day and age and they ahve pretty much no appeal or social media presence. Note im also not talking about songs like "we are charlie kirk" as that basically capitalizes on seo and engagement bait which isn't a suprise that its a popular meme now, im talking bout the most random shit that you wouldn't even know just popping up when you skip a track.
