How quickly does IG flag 'copyrighted' content?

Hi All,

Had this idea to upload quick clips from sports matches, i know on youtube they CAN flag those quite quick (doesn't always happen). Does Instagram flag these as well? I'm just thinking like NFL clips etc.

Whether they are quick or not, it will always result in your account being banned in the end. Its a killer when you gain a huge following only to be banned and lose them all. Not really worth it unless you can make a decent amount of $ while the account is alive.

put a watermark on it, crop it, make it as different from the original as possible

It's a good idea for an account but the copyright issue is a problem. I wouldn't risk getting my account banned though.

Actually, videos do really well on IG with the right monetization.

Are the bans just for using major copyrights or if someone used a personal pic of a nobody, would that also result in an account being banned?

if you think copyright means that somebody has it on their profile then think again. Unless you want to go through the courts then any photo can be used by anybody at anytime. You have no legal right to a photo once it's been shared on the Internet

There is a difference between a civil suit and a dmca, some companies have very strict dmca policies and delete content for any false dmca and even on things not copyrighted.

i have a 600k account and the actual name is the same as a popular brand. it grows quick as fuck but i'm going to change it at 900k.

The thing is. aslong as the owner of the brand does not contact Instagram, you're safe.
