Every morning when I start working I check to see how many new followers I have. I usually follow back everyone that follows me. I'm a little concerned that I may end up doing it too quickly. Should I space out following people back or can I do it all at once? I'm doing it manually right now.

It doesn't matter. If the accounts aren't aged I suggest waiting a bit in between every follow back or action. If the accounts are a few months old, just go for it. Don't do things that look botted to twitter though. Following 500 people back in 2 minutes is suspicious

If you do it manually, I suggest to take 1 ~ 3 seconds between each following and don't follow more than 50 people per hour / day in new accounts and more than 100 people per hour / 800 per day in old accounts, mainly if your accounts aren't phone verified.

EDIT: Sorry, I'm new here and just noticed this is twitter, lol. Twitter doesn't make a big of deal than Instagram, I usually follow everyone that followed me. But it also depends on how old is your account, so if it's kinda fresh, I recommend not mass-following like 400 accounts in 1-2 hours or something.
