How quickly can Google discover and index pages without GSC verification?

it depends if you have update your sitemap so that crawlers can pick it up

Google can find and index pages without GSC verification, but you can use GSC verification to check indexing. I’d say you should concentrating more on good internal linking, quality content and getting pages crawled via natural links. Plenty of sites get indexed quickly without GSC because their overall SEO and crawlability is already in good shape.

Google can discover and index pages on a non-GSC-verified site within a few hours to a few days, provided the site has strong external discovery pathways. Googlebot is a voracious spider that crawls the web purely by following hyperlinks. If a website has contextual backlinks from active, high-traffic niches, or if its XML sitemap is properly declared in the robots.txt file, search crawlers will stumble upon it naturally. Once discovery happens, indexing speed depends entirely on the site's historical authority and content quality, not whether a webmaster verified a dashboard.

GSC verification doesn't really affect how fast Google indexes a site. it just gives you data and lets you submit sitemaps, request indexing, track issues, etc. i've seen plenty of sites rank fine without ever being connected to GSC. indexing speed usually comes down to things like site authority, internal linking, crawlability, fresh content, and backlinks. if Google is already crawling a site frequently, new pages can get picked up pretty fast even without GSC.

many people do not know about twitter/x for indexing. Googlebot crawls twitter like crazy. just post your URL there after publishing and it gets picked up fast. same with internal links from any page that already gets crawled regularly. GSC is just a dashboard, does not change how google actually finds your stuff.
