Hello everyone,

I am planning to start a tech related blog site where I will post different news, article, guides and reviews. I am planning to create all the content myself. I am currently looking into finding a good domain and I have already found the hosting and wordpress theme I am going to use. My question is, whether blogging is still profitable and how to make the most of it? Also, how much effort is needed for a stable double figure daily income and what areas should I invest this effort, beside content creation.

Thank you.

it all depends how you monetize the blog, there are blogs out there worth millions

The more traffic your website has, the more money you make. Simple as that.

Simple way for earning is, adsense and affiliate links and selling the ad space after getting reasonable number of traffics. Starts from Adsense which will encourage.. Be aware about adsense rules enough.

Their profitability is equivalent to the amount of time and effort you put into it.

after I tried and error ...close the site and back again...than I learn is not easy.
Patience , time are the key to see results.

I always admire those managed to earn at least 50 bucks per day on adsense..that means per day their traffic is A LOT ....100k etc....perhaps..
as I also doing adsense , I find it hard , even you got it keywords , unique contents , SEO , backlink etc you name it as what others have mention....

it does take some times to test and see the result how it go....

If you write all the content yourself you are gonna get burned out.
There are good writers on fiverr, but it takes some research to find them.

The money you make is only limited to your understanding on how to
market the blog. Will you devote your time to SEO or Social media or
both? If you wanna make money you have to fully understand how to
market the blog effectively BEFORE you write content and design the
site. Otherwise it's probably going to be a waste of your time.

"How long is a piece of string?"

That's what you might as well have asked. Some blogs make zero, some blogs make millions.

Unique content + Quality content + Traffic source + Monetization = Profit
