How PPD Sites Make Their Money?

hey guys
lately i decided i want to start my own ppd website
i found a script and i know what to do
but i want to understand how the ppd websites like sharecash and fileice making their money

please answer my question :P
how the ppd websites make their money if the publishers get the money from the surveys

They are a middleman between CPA networks and the final users.

They are paid by the CPA networks and give users a % of that money, normally 85-90%, and keep the rest for them.
 
You can compare it when someone signs up under your refferal and you get like 5-10% of their earnings. PPD sites are in fact big refferals. They grab the offers etc. and the members promote them. The bigger PPD Site owners make a killing, I can tell you that :)

any thing that i should concern about before i set up every thing
or after i set up ?

and i dont have any problem with driving people to my site and make them referr people (i am good at this shit :) )
 
You got the PPD script without even knowing how to make money with it?

Simply, if fileice pays the uploader $3 then fileice is keeping itself $1. So fileice is getting paid $4 for that offer and its paying to $3 to the affiliate.

i know how to make money with ppd but i never had a ppd site before
so i am asking for it

do you think the script Automatic doing this ?
taking % from the profit

because when i got the script i didnt notice anything about taking % from the profit
 
they do this by using content lockers for which users need to complete a simple survey or signing up for particular services to download the files hosted on them.
check Sharecash, good PDD network

I thought they took like 20% - 30% of the earnings?

Not really the same thing.
A referral won't cut any % from your earnings, PPD sites will.

A PPD site is more like a gateway. They are CPAs affiliates and promote CPA offers through their users.
Then take a % of each earning for themselves and leave the big portion to the users.

TalP123, one thing you should certainly take care of is blanking your referral.
PPD users tend to make money with fake files or copyrighted content.
No CPA will accept it in the medium-long run. If you hide the referral they would me more lenient.

if your gonna get make a PPD site make sure its fully custom coded...if you use a paid/free script u wont get many users.

If you mean how to make sure your users will not upload copyrighted content or fake file, it depends on how powerful the script you purchased is.
I suspect you should do some of the checks manually, which is a pain.

But again: if you blank the referrer you should be fine.

If you are willing to do PPD, you must live with the fact 99% of users will promote that kind of files.

i didnt understand the blank the referrer part

the script should take them to the offer from annonyim surfing ?

Yes, you got it.

If I put a link to an offer on a page, the CPA and the advertiser will see that page as the originating website for the traffic.
If that page is about something not tolerated by the advertiser, sooner or later they will complain and may reverse the leads, meaning that they won't pay you for the leads coming from unaccepted sources.

Issue is that in the meantime you would have paid your people already so you may find yourself in the uncomfortable position to not getting back what your have paid already.
Even if you decided to pay your users after you received the CPA money, so normally net30, if the CPA decides not to pay you, you will have no money to pay your users.
This is one of the reasons so many PPD networks open and close in a matter of 1-2 years time.

I am sure that any decent PPD script blanks the referrer, but you have to make 100% sure it NEVER leaks the referrer.
Few leads coming from unwanted sources may make the CPA and advertisers suspicious that ALL your leads are bad.

I THINK:

PPD Sites earn their money because they making people do simple tasks, and those simple tasks such as Surveys are actually the tasks made by group of companies, those group of companies make several questions in order to gather information about what the people needs or whatever that they could use in order to start a business/improve a business.

Other than that, there are also tasks that the people needs to do before they download that locked file such as Subscribe to this and that or whatever that could increase the webmasters traffic/earnings. In other words, they pay for people to do specific task, they benefit from people who're doing those tasks.

That's how PPD works.
 
In my opinion you shouldn't start a site unless you know pretty much about the business (some past experience), got a friend or two who can code if you find any bugs or wish to add features to your site and than maybe a $5k spare cash. You are competing in a big market and will need to advertise big, have great offers and probably pay out more then you get in the first few months.

Other that that, good luck. IMHO it's no business for newcomers.
