I have read recently an article where it says that G is buying more than 50 companies each week.

So, there is no doubt that almost everything on this world has a price. And G has money in billions of $$

What if they secretly bought companies which provide black hat seo software like GSA, Scrapebox etc.

And websites like bhw?!?

And with their online presence they can achieve a very afordable prices, because they control everything.
There is so many ways to screw someones business online, and G has all power to do it.

They bought blogger then he created twitter. If they bought gsa then they may create bsa. MS had much more money and it is also buying many companies, and amazon too doing this. Its common in business world.
 
What if they make steve balmer as ceo of google? Its monopoly will end soon just like what happened to microsoft.

It is not monopoly on web, because there is Yahoo and Bing, etc. but it is monopoly in some ways.

Google is amazing incorporation and they do own huge percentage of web.

They do not have to buy Scrapebox or BHW to know what are you doing trough that services, they know it without buying them, trust me, they know everything.

They have your Paypal informations, Account passwords, Images, Name, PINs, links, and they grow, and there is no expert in this world who have nuts to publish prediction about G crash or end of this company.

G is kinda God.

G can buy your life's worth. It can also rank your facebook profile for "pink tutus".

no, but they simply can easily catch us easier...

I think, that there is to much data online, even for G to check everything...

In other case, they love services like bh seo, their profits (via AdWords) are getting bigger...imao

We cant do much about it.
We know chrome is google's product. We know google tracks the user in all possible ways. Majority of us are still using it.

Instead of blaming google, If possible get out of google's product circle. That's what we can do to stop google becoming a monopoly.

:) obviously that's not going to happen. No one is going to stop using google's product.
 
Its true that G has some properties they hide from public. But I agree with everyone that G can track whoever they want with their chrome and other products.

That said, media has been implying that Google's days are numbered because a new search engine which they think is far more technologically advanced will be unveiled to general public very soon.

This is bullshit.
You obviosly don't know how things are running. No matter how better search engine comes out it will not replace google.

Why?
Its not about how great the product is ( in this case search engine ), marketing strategy is more important. Google has aggressive marketing strategy and 95% of the users don't care about better search engine that is more technologically advanced, they just want to type cats and see photos of cat in the internet.

And people are used to using Google and usually its hard to change the mind set of people.

I disagree.

There are plenty of companies who once completely dominated a market only to be ousted by an upstart.

As soon as a company thinks they are too big to fail, that's when their problems start.

It happened to IBM, Blackberry, Microsoft, MySpace, Kodak - the list is huge.

And it happens more often and more quickly in the tech sector than anywhere else.

Technology changes, society changes, expectations change - and most importantly, customers change.

You can have 100% domination right now, but every year there are a new swathe of kids that become the new customers.

And if someone develops a product that those kids prefer then however big a business is, it is a dead duck.
 
Yes nothing is immortal in techworld. Few years back bing has no market share but now it has considerable share.
 
They can not dominate whole online biz and be a dictator. There is something called as fair competition act. Read it. Google has already tasted legal issues based on this act in few european countries already !
