How On Earth Does This Guy Keep Hitting Google Number 1 For Each Launch?

How on earth does this guy do it? See his site below:

This guy usually hits the number 1 spot for the pre launches he goes for.
I'm presuming he has the most amount of backlinks and if so the big question is:

How on earth does he get so many backlinks? Is he building links fast?

I checked out some of his links, and I noticed backlinks via creating software and wallpapers etc

C'mon guys, this has been done many times before. An oldie but goodie.

This guy has released hundreds of templates. In the footer I'm sure he has a script that calls home to get the text (and the formatted links) to include. Most people will never remove it or are too ignorant to know how. Pretty slick because he can then keep adding to it. Of course he can have numerous ones set up too; I.E. for X amount of templates it calls home to get file#1, the next batch calls file#2, etc..

That's not difficult to do and it's a nice move if you're the designing type: People take your template and they're happy. They give you links and you're happy. What a concept? Everyone's happy!!!

This is not exactly an uncommon technique. I'm sure it took him awhile though to get that kind of distribution that he can flip the switch with and have thousands of links.

Nice...but not thrilling. ;)

maybe he hits number 1 because if he has been an affiliate for previous product the he gets a 2week headstart on any new product. I had an email from maverick m makers 2 weeks before it was relesed

This site looks different to what it looked like a few months ago. Before it all blue now it looks different.
 
Jesus Christ! Yeap.. he's my competitor for a few products.

The reason why he can get an "instant" boost is because of his main backlinks pointing to his main site. Therefore, all he needs to do is create a new page (subdomain or a different folder) and do an onsite SEO linking to it. Then ping it.
And maybe he did somemore backlinks to it and there... boom! first page easily.

If he creates a new domain and start over... I bet he will take a super long time to get to the first page.

From it's backlinks I guess he has a linkfarm to boost him up, maybe after the Eli example...

Just because he doesn't post here doesn't mean he's inexperienced!

Props to conrulez, +thanks, this is something I planned on integrating into one of my optimized wordpress templates.

ROFL... Yeah you have it right. I am NO Newbie.

It took me about 90 seconds looking at his links to figure it out. Trust me when I tell you, his links are primarly coming from EXACTLY the way I told you.

I will post around here more often when I can, but not too much. Success comes from doing, not from talking about it.

I've been a member on Syndk8 since 2005. There are some very smart SOB's here too which is why I'm here. I'm no genius, by any means, but I'm definitely SEO smarter than the average bear. ;)

This guy must be doing something as well as I have seen him get kicked out of the first page of the big G on a built up to a product launch and within a day or so his back up to the number one spot. Would wordpress comment stuffing provide that extra boost?

EVERYTHING else is subservient...Period. End of story.

I will write up a nice post in the next couple of days and post it. Some of You guys are in DESPERATE need of learning the KISS rule...
 
Design a few Wordpress themes >> Add your targeted link to the footer >>> release and hope for the best .. :p

An 'easy' way to get a ton of backlinks.
 
Just spent the last hour looking at why this guy is so succesful and had an "aha" moment regarding my backlinks. Apart from trying out some of the blackhat methods here over the last few months (yes they do work, cpa is great, I've been paid and not banned) I've had a good hard look at why I haven't been as succesful as I would like to be and followed the advice found here on the forum.

Each month my earnings increase, sometimes doubling but more often going up between 10 - 50%. What's worked for me is to get into one method and try it from every angle. There's no point in going in half-arsed. Treating this as a business has definitely helped focus me.

To jigga2004 and conrulez, THANKS! It still amazes me that guys will take the time to share their knowledge with us. My earnings have hit 50% of my 'day job' and with what I've just realised from reading this thread I'll double that in the next month or 2.

they might not treat it the same way, but it's still a link.
 
you should realise that he said they "reserve" the right to treat them differently and not that they do it, also he was talking more about those links influencing the PR count and not the boos they give in search results, and PR doesn't put your site in the G's first page for itself.

just my .02, don't shoot me if i said something stupid cause i didn't felt like writing a lot to go in more depth, but i think you'll get what i'm saying :D
